門道兒的進口處是寬十肘；進口處的側面牆是這邊五肘，那邊五肘；他量了殿堂是長四十肘，寬二十肘。他進了內殿，量了進口的挨牆柱子，各厚二肘；進口是寬六肘；進口的側面牆各寬七肘。他量了內殿是長二十肘，寬二十肘，在殿堂前面。他對我說：這就是至聖所。他又量了殿的牆，厚六肘；三面繞着殿的每一間廂房各寬四肘。

他到了朝東的大門，就上門的臺階，量門的一個門檻，寬一竿。又量另一個門檻，寬一竿。又有守衛室、長一竿、寬一竿；守衛室之間相隔有五肘；大門的門檻挨着大門以內的廊子，有一竿。他又量了大門以內的廊子，有一竿。量了大門的廊子，有八肘；其挨牆柱有二肘；大門的廊子是在門以內的。東路大門的守衛室、這邊有三間，那邊有三間：三間都是一樣的尺寸；挨牆柱子這邊和那邊都是一樣的尺寸。他量了大門進口處、其寬有十肘，大門路有十三肘。守衛室前面有矮牆在這邊一肘，有矮牆在那邊也一肘：守衛室是這邊六肘，那邊也六肘。他又量了大門，從這守衛室的後邊到那守衛室的後邊，寬二十五肘、這門到那門。他量了門廊子、二十肘；而連着大門的門廊子便是院子四圍。從大門進口處前面、到大門內廊子的儘後面、是五十肘。守衛室和它們的挨牆柱子、大門道兒以內四處、都有內寬外窄的窗櫺，門廊子也是這樣：裏面四處都有窗櫺；其挨牆柱子還有雕刻的棕樹。
