Once the priests enter the holy precincts, they are not to go into the outer court until they leave behind the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They are to put on other clothes before they go near the places that are for the people.”

The priests who enter these holy rooms must leave behind the clothes they served in. Then they can go into the outer courtyard. The clothes they served in are holy. So the priests must put other clothes on. They have to do that before they go near the places where other people go.”

When the priests enter the Holy Place, they shall not go out of it into the outer court without laying there the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They shall put on other garments before they go near to that which is for the people.”

When the priests leave the sanctuary, they must not go directly to the outer courtyard. They must first take off the clothes they wore while ministering, because these clothes are holy. They must put on other clothes before entering the parts of the building complex open to the public.”

以衣衣亞倫、束以帶、服以長衣、加以公服、束以繡紳、

攜亞倫及其子至會幕門外、以水濯之、衣亞倫以衣、及公服、黼掛、與公服下之長衣、束以繡紳、以冠冠首、上加聖冕。斟香膏、膏其首。攜其子來、衣以衣、束以紳、冠以冠、使亞倫及子任祭司職、永著為例。

主告左右曰、解其污裳、又曰、我宥爾愆尤、衣爾明衣、又曰、當以美冠加其首、爰取美冠、以冠厥首、明衣以被厥體、耶和華之使者、立於彼、

使亞倫諸子前、衣之以衣、束之以紳、冠之以冠、循耶和華命。

選民曰、我之上帝耶和華、錫我純嘏、加我仁義、若衣麗服、若被長衣、譬彼新娶者、冠以美冠、譬彼新婦、飾以實物、我蒙福祉、不覺踊躍、欣喜不勝。

少者當服長老、彼此相順、必以謙讓為衣服、驕泰者、上帝擯斥、卑遜者、上帝賜恩、

勿圖情欲、以任所嗜、惟主耶穌基督是佩是服、

即上帝以人信耶穌基督、而稱其義、概以賜諸信者、悉無區別、

凡受基督洗者、是服膺基督也、

耶穌曰、手執耒耜而顧後者、不克當於上帝國也、

歷七日、必行任汝為祭司之禮、故是時不得出會幕、迨盈七日則可。今日所為者、耶和華命之為汝贖罪、故必居會幕門外、晝夜無間、至於七日、守耶和華所命之役事、遵我所告、免爾死亡。

為亞倫子製衣服、冠帶、以彰華美、使亞倫及其子服之、沐以膏、俾其成聖、任為祭司、以奉事我。以枲織褌、自腰及髀、蔽厥下體。亞倫與子進會幕、近祭壇、役事於聖所之時、必衣此服、免蹈罪愆、至於死亡、以此永著為例、歷世勿替。
