Once the priests enter the holy precincts, they are not to go into the outer court until they leave behind the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They are to put on other clothes before they go near the places that are for the people.”

The priests who enter these holy rooms must leave behind the clothes they served in. Then they can go into the outer courtyard. The clothes they served in are holy. So the priests must put other clothes on. They have to do that before they go near the places where other people go.”

When the priests enter the Holy Place, they shall not go out of it into the outer court without laying there the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They shall put on other garments before they go near to that which is for the people.”

When the priests leave the sanctuary, they must not go directly to the outer courtyard. They must first take off the clothes they wore while ministering, because these clothes are holy. They must put on other clothes before entering the parts of the building complex open to the public.”

衣亞倫以內袍、束以大帶、衣以外袍、加以弗得、束以以弗得之帶、用以繫以弗得於其身、

使亞倫與其諸子至會幕門前、以水濯之、以衣衣亞倫、即內袍與以弗得下之外袍、並以弗得與胸牌、又束之以以弗得之帶、以冠戴其首、又以聖牌加於冠上、以膏油灌其首而膏之、攜其諸子來、衣以長袍、以大帶束亞倫與其諸子、以冠冠之、爾如是為亞倫與其諸子行立祭司禮、則彼得祭司之職、永定為例、

彼謂立於其前者或作主告左右曰、當解其污衣、又謂約書亞曰、我除爾愆尤、衣爾美衣、我或作又曰、當以華冠冠其首、遂以華冠冠其首、又衣之以美衣、主之使者立於側、

摩西攜亞倫諸子來前、衣之以袍、束之以帶、冠之以冠、遵主諭摩西之命、

民曰、我因主欣喜、我心因我天主歡樂、蓋天主以拯救為衣衣我、以福祉福祉或作仁義下同為袍被我、使我若新娶者冠以華冠、若新婦飾以寶物、

爾為少者、當服老者、老者或作長老皆以謙卑為衣衣之、互相順服、經云、驕傲者、天主拒之、謙卑者、天主賜之以恩、

惟衣被主耶穌基督、爾為身慮、勿致縱慾、

即天主因人信耶穌基督所賜之義、賜諸信者、悉無區別、

因凡受洗禮以歸基督者、皆衣基督也、

耶穌曰、手執犁而顧後者、不堪入天主之國、

立爾為祭司、行禮必歷七日、故七日毋出會幕門、直待七日滿矣、今日所行、皆主所命行者、為爾贖罪、必歷七晝夜居於會幕門前、守主所命當守者、免爾死亡、蓋主命我如是、

又為亞倫諸子作長袍與帶、並為之製冠、顯其尊榮、使亞倫與諸子服此衣、並以膏膏之、區別為聖、立為祭司奉事我、又以白細麻布、為之作袴、以蔽下體、自腰及髀、亞倫與其諸子入會幕、或近祭臺、役事於聖所之時、則衣之、免獲罪愆、至於死亡、亞倫與其後裔永守此例、
