Then he measured the wall of the temple; it was six cubits thick, and each side room around the temple was four cubits wide.

Then the man measured the wall of the temple. It was 11 feet thick. Each side room around the temple was seven feet wide.

靠着殿牆，圍着外殿和內殿的牆，周圍建造了廂房；下層寬五肘，中層寬六肘，第三層寬七肘。他在殿牆的周圍造坎，免得梁木插入殿牆裏。

廂房有三層，層疊而上，每層排列三十間。殿的牆四周有凸出的牆支撐廂房，廂房就不必以殿的牆為支柱。這圍繞着殿的廂房越高越寬；廂房圍着殿懸疊而上，所以越上面越寬，從下一層，到中一層，到上一層。我又見有高臺圍繞着殿，作為廂房的根基，高足足有一竿，就是六大肘。廂房的外牆寬五肘。殿的廂房和那邊的房間中間還有空地，寬二十肘，圍繞着殿。

對着內院那二十肘，又對着外院的石板地，在第三層樓有樓廊對着樓廊。那些房間前有一條走道，寬十肘，往裏面有寬一肘的通道。房門都向北。房間因為樓廊佔掉一些地方，所以房子的上層比中下兩層窄。房間分三層，卻不像外院的屋子用柱子支撐，而是從地面往上，所以一層比一層更窄。外面有一道牆，長五十肘，在房間前面，與朝外院的房間平行。靠着外院的房間長五十肘，看哪，朝聖殿的長一百肘。這些房間下面的東邊有一個入口，從外院可由此進入；其寬如院牆。朝東也有房間，一面對着空地，一面對着房子。這些房間前的通道與北邊房間的通道一樣；長、寬、出口、樣式和入口都相同。在東邊通道的開端，正對着那道牆有門可以進入，與向南邊房間的門一樣。他對我說：「面對空地南邊的房間和北邊的房間，都是聖的房間；親近耶和華的祭司當在那裏吃至聖的東西，也當在那裏存放至聖的東西，就是素祭、贖罪祭和贖愆祭，因此處為聖。祭司進聖所，出來的時候，不可直接到外院，要在那裏放下他們供職的衣服，因為這是聖衣；要穿上別的衣服才可以到百姓所在之處。」
