Then the man brought me to the main hall and measured the jambs; the width of the jambs was six cubits on each side.

Next he brought me into the great hall and measured the pilasters; on each side the width of the pilaster was 10 1/2 feet.

外殿和至聖所各有一個門。

所羅門為耶和華所建的殿，長二十七公尺，寬九公尺，高十三公尺半。

門廊深四公尺；牆柱厚一公尺；門廊是朝向殿內的。

並且建造在使徒和先知的根基上，基督耶穌自己就是奠基石，整座建築都靠著他連接配合，漸漸增長成為在主裡面的聖所。你們在他裡面也一同被建造，成為神藉著聖靈居住的所在。

得勝的，我要叫他在我神的聖所裡作柱子，他決不再出去，我也要把我神的名，和我神的城的名，就是那從天上、從我神那裡降下來的新耶路撒冷，以及我的新名，都寫在他身上。

他進了內殿，量了門口的牆柱，各厚一公尺；入口寬三公尺，門的內牆各寬三公尺半。

也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，作聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙神悅納的靈祭。

那對我說話的天使拿著一根金的蘆葦，要量那城、城門和城牆。

我聽見有大聲音從寶座那裡發出來，說：“看哪！神的帳幕在人間，他要與人同住，他們要作他的子民。神要親自與他們同在，要作他們的神。

外殿的門框是正方形的；在至聖所前面的門框，也是一樣。

有一根好像量尺的蘆葦賜給了我，又有話說：“你起來，把神的聖所和祭壇，以及在裡面敬拜的人，都量一量、數一數。但聖所外面的院子，不要量它，因為它已經給了外族人，他們要踐踏聖城四十二個月。

告訴他說：‘萬軍之耶和華這樣說：看哪！有一個人名叫大衛的苗裔，他必從自己的地方生長起來，並要建造耶和華的殿。他必建造耶和華的殿，必得尊榮；他必坐在寶座上執掌王權，又必在他的寶座上作祭司，使兩者之間和諧共濟。’”
