Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, were two rooms, one at the side of the north gate and facing south, and another at the side of the south gate and facing north.

Near the inner gates were two rooms. They were in the inner courtyard. One room was next to the north gate. It faced south. The other one was next to the south gate. It faced north.

On the outside of the inner gateway there were two chambers in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate facing south, the other at the side of the south gate facing north.

Inside the inner courtyard were two rooms, one beside the north gateway, facing south, and the other beside the south gateway, facing north.

Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, there were chambers for the singers: one beside the north gate, facing south, and another beside the south gate, facing north.

约柜安设之后，大卫派人在耶和华殿中管理歌唱的事。他们就在会幕前当歌唱的差，及至所罗门在耶路撒冷建造了耶和华的殿，他们便按着班次供职。

内院朝南有门。从这门量到朝南的那门，共一百肘。

内院有门与这门相对，北面东面都是如此。他从这门量到那门，共一百肘。

与他们一同被派的有希幔、耶杜顿，和其余被选名字录在册上的，称谢耶和华，因他的慈爱永远长存。希幔、耶杜顿同着他们吹号、敲钹，大发响声，并用别的乐器随着歌颂神。耶杜顿的子孙作守门的。于是众民各归各家；大卫也回去为家眷祝福。

当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里，用诗章、颂词、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，心被恩感，歌颂神。

大卫和众首领分派亚萨、希幔，并耶杜顿的子孙弹琴、鼓瑟、敲钹、唱歌。他们供职的人数记在下面：亚萨的儿子撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅、亚萨利拉都归亚萨指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。耶杜顿的儿子基大利、西利、耶筛亚、哈沙比雅、玛他提雅、示每共六人，都归他们父亲耶杜顿指教，弹琴，唱歌，称谢，颂赞耶和华。希幔的儿子布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提、玛哈秀；这都是希幔的儿子，吹角颂赞。希幔奉神之命作王的先见。神赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿，都归他们父亲指教，在耶和华的殿唱歌、敲钹、弹琴、鼓瑟，办神殿的事务。亚萨、耶杜顿、希幔都是王所命定的。他们和他们的弟兄学习颂赞耶和华；善于歌唱的共有二百八十八人。这些人无论大小，为师的、为徒的，都一同掣签分了班次。掣签的时候，第一掣出来的是亚萨的儿子约瑟。第二是基大利；他和他弟兄并儿子共十二人。第三是撒刻；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第四是伊洗利；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第五是尼探雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第六是布基雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第七是耶萨利拉；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第八是耶筛亚；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第九是玛探雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十是示每；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十一是亚萨烈；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十二是哈沙比雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十三是书巴业；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十四是玛他提雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十五是耶利摩；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十六是哈拿尼雅；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十七是约施比加沙；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十八是哈拿尼；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第十九是玛罗提；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第二十是以利亚他；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第二十一是何提；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第二十二是基大利提；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第二十三是玛哈秀；他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。第二十四是罗幔提以谢，他和他儿子并弟兄共十二人。

东门洞有卫房：这旁三间，那旁三间，都是一样的尺寸；这边的柱子和那边的柱子，也是一样的尺寸。

又有卫房，每房长一竿，宽一竿，相隔五肘。门槛，就是挨着向殿的廊门槛，宽一竿。

当用诗章、颂词、灵歌彼此对说，口唱心和地赞美主。

门洞的柱旁有屋子和门；祭司在那里洗燔祭牲。

他带我到外院，见院的四围有铺石地；铺石地上有屋子三十间。

卫房和柱子，并廊子都照先前的尺寸。门洞两旁与廊子的周围都有窗棂。门洞长五十肘，宽二十五肘。
