Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, were two rooms, one at the side of the north gate and facing south, and another at the side of the south gate and facing north.

Near the inner gates were two rooms. They were in the inner courtyard. One room was next to the north gate. It faced south. The other one was next to the south gate. It faced north.

On the outside of the inner gateway there were two chambers in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate facing south, the other at the side of the south gate facing north.

Inside the inner courtyard were two rooms, one beside the north gateway, facing south, and the other beside the south gateway, facing north.

Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, there were chambers for the singers: one beside the north gate, facing south, and another beside the south gate, facing north.

From the outside to the inner gate were chambers for the singers in the inner courtyard, one of which was at the side of the north gate, with its front toward the south, and one at the side of the south gate facing north.

Outside the inner gate were the chambers for the singers in the inner court, one facing south at the side of the northern gateway, and the other facing north at the side of the southern gateway.

And without the inner gate were chambers for the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south; one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, there were chambers for the singers: one beside the north gate, facing south, and another beside the south gate, facing north.

And without the inner gate[ were] the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which[ was] at the side of the north gate; and their prospect[ was] toward the south: one at the side of the east gate[ having] the prospect toward the north.

自約櫃安放妥當以後，大衛指派在耶和華殿裡負責歌唱事奉的就是以下這些人。他們在會幕的帳棚前擔任歌唱的工作，直到所羅門在耶路撒冷建造了耶和華的殿，他們按著班次執行自己的職務。

內院南面也有門；他從這門量到南門，共有五十公尺。

內院有門與這門相對；北面、東面，都是一樣；他從這門量到那門，共有五十公尺。

和他們一起的有希幔、耶杜頓和其餘被選出，有記名的人，都稱謝耶和華，因為他的慈愛永遠常存。希幔、耶杜頓和他們一起吹號敲鈸，以及演奏各種樂器，大聲歌頌神。耶杜頓的子孫負責守門。於是眾民都回去，各人回自己的家；大衛也回去給自己的家人祝福。

你們要讓基督的道豐豐富富地住在你們心裡，以各樣的智慧，彼此教導，互相勸戒，用詩章、聖詩、靈歌，懷著感恩的心歌頌神。

大衛和軍隊的領袖，也給亞薩、希幔和耶杜頓的子孫分派了任務，叫他們用琴瑟響鈸說預言。他們任職的人數如下：亞薩的兒子有撒刻、約瑟、尼探雅和亞薩利拉；亞薩的兒子都歸亞薩指揮，遵照王的旨意說預言。至於耶杜頓，他的兒子有基大利、西利、耶篩亞、示每、哈沙比雅和瑪他提雅，共六人，都歸他們的父親耶杜頓指揮。耶杜頓用琴說預言，稱謝和讚美耶和華。至於希幔，他的兒子有布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提．以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提和瑪哈秀。這些人都是希幔的兒子；希幔是王的先見，照著神的話高舉他（“高舉他”原文作“高舉角”）。神賜給希幔十四個兒子，三個女兒。這些人都歸他們的父親指揮，在耶和華的殿裡歌頌，用響鈸和琴瑟在神的殿事奉。亞薩、耶杜頓和希幔都是由王指揮的。他們和他們的親族，在歌頌耶和華的事上受過特別訓練，精於歌唱的，人數共有二百八十八人。這些人，無論大小，不分師生，都一同抽籤分班次。第一籤抽出來的是亞薩的兒子約瑟；第二籤是基大利，他和他的兄弟、兒子，共十二人；第三籤是撒刻，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第四籤是伊洗利，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第五籤是尼探雅，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第六籤是布基雅，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第七籤是耶撒利拉，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第八籤是耶篩亞，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第九籤是瑪探雅，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十籤是示每，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十一籤是亞薩烈，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十二籤是哈沙比雅，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十三籤是書巴業，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十四籤是瑪他提雅，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十五籤是耶利摩，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十六籤是哈拿尼雅，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十七籤是約施比加沙，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十八籤是哈拿尼，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第十九籤是瑪羅提，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十籤是以利亞他，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十一籤是何提，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十二籤是基大利提，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十三籤是瑪哈秀，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十四籤是羅幔提．以謝，他和他的兒子、兄弟，共十二人。

東門的守衛室，這邊有三間，那邊有三間；三間都是一樣的長寬；兩邊的牆柱都是一樣的厚。

又有守衛室，長三公尺、寬三公尺；守衛室與守衛室之間，相隔兩公尺半；朝向殿內，在門廊旁邊的門檻，厚三公尺。

應當用詩章、聖詩、靈歌，彼此呼應，口唱心和地讚美主。

在各門的牆柱旁邊都有一間有門的房子；那裡是洗燔祭牲的地方。

他帶我到了外院，我見有些房子，院子周圍有鋪石地，鋪石地上有三十間房子。

守衛室、牆柱和門廊的尺寸都與先前的一樣；門的裡面和門廊周圍都有窗子。這門全長二十五公尺，寬十二公尺半（有古卷加“周圍有門廊，長十二公尺半，寬兩公尺半”之句）。
