内院的门外有两间（按照《马索拉文本》，“两间”作“供歌唱的人使用的”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）房子：一间在北门旁边，朝向南面；一间在南门（按照《马索拉文本》，“南门”作“东门”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）旁边，朝向北面。

Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, were two rooms, one at the side of the north gate and facing south, and another at the side of the south gate and facing north.

Near the inner gates were two rooms. They were in the inner courtyard. One room was next to the north gate. It faced south. The other one was next to the south gate. It faced north.

On the outside of the inner gateway there were two chambers in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate facing south, the other at the side of the south gate facing north.

Inside the inner courtyard were two rooms, one beside the north gateway, facing south, and the other beside the south gateway, facing north.

Outside the inner gate, within the inner court, there were chambers for the singers: one beside the north gate, facing south, and another beside the south gate, facing north.

From the outside to the inner gate were chambers for the singers in the inner courtyard, one of which was at the side of the north gate, with its front toward the south, and one at the side of the south gate facing north.

And without the inner gate[ were] the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which[ was] at the side of the north gate; and their prospect[ was] toward the south: one at the side of the east gate[ having] the prospect toward the north.

自约柜安放妥当以后，大卫指派在耶和华殿里负责歌唱事奉的就是以下这些人。他们在会幕的帐棚前担任歌唱的工作，直到所罗门在耶路撒冷建造了耶和华的殿，他们按着班次执行自己的职务。

内院南面也有门；他从这门量到南门，共有五十公尺。

内院有门与这门相对；北面、东面，都是一样；他从这门量到那门，共有五十公尺。

和他们一起的有希幔、耶杜顿和其余被选出，有记名的人，都称谢耶和华，因为他的慈爱永远常存。希幔、耶杜顿和他们一起吹号敲钹，以及演奏各种乐器，大声歌颂神。耶杜顿的子孙负责守门。于是众民都回去，各人回自己的家；大卫也回去给自己的家人祝福。

你们要让基督的道丰丰富富地住在你们心里，以各样的智慧，彼此教导，互相劝戒，用诗章、圣诗、灵歌，怀着感恩的心歌颂神。

大卫和军队的领袖，也给亚萨、希幔和耶杜顿的子孙分派了任务，叫他们用琴瑟响钹说预言。他们任职的人数如下：亚萨的儿子有撒刻、约瑟、尼探雅和亚萨利拉；亚萨的儿子都归亚萨指挥，遵照王的旨意说预言。至于耶杜顿，他的儿子有基大利、西利、耶筛亚、示每、哈沙比雅和玛他提雅，共六人，都归他们的父亲耶杜顿指挥。耶杜顿用琴说预言，称谢和赞美耶和华。至于希幔，他的儿子有布基雅、玛探雅、乌薛、细布业、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亚他、基大利提、罗幔提．以谢、约施比加沙、玛罗提、何提和玛哈秀。这些人都是希幔的儿子；希幔是王的先见，照着神的话高举他（“高举他”原文作“高举角”）。神赐给希幔十四个儿子，三个女儿。这些人都归他们的父亲指挥，在耶和华的殿里歌颂，用响钹和琴瑟在神的殿事奉。亚萨、耶杜顿和希幔都是由王指挥的。他们和他们的亲族，在歌颂耶和华的事上受过特别训练，精于歌唱的，人数共有二百八十八人。这些人，无论大小，不分师生，都一同抽签分班次。第一签抽出来的是亚萨的儿子约瑟；第二签是基大利，他和他的兄弟、儿子，共十二人；第三签是撒刻，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第四签是伊洗利，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第五签是尼探雅，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第六签是布基雅，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第七签是耶撒利拉，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第八签是耶筛亚，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第九签是玛探雅，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十签是示每，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十一签是亚萨烈，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十二签是哈沙比雅，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十三签是书巴业，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十四签是玛他提雅，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十五签是耶利摩，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十六签是哈拿尼雅，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十七签是约施比加沙，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十八签是哈拿尼，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第十九签是玛罗提，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十签是以利亚他，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十一签是何提，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十二签是基大利提，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十三签是玛哈秀，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人；第二十四签是罗幔提．以谢，他和他的儿子、兄弟，共十二人。

东门的守卫室，这边有三间，那边有三间；三间都是一样的长宽；两边的墙柱都是一样的厚。

又有守卫室，长三公尺、宽三公尺；守卫室与守卫室之间，相隔两公尺半；朝向殿内，在门廊旁边的门槛，厚三公尺。

应当用诗章、圣诗、灵歌，彼此呼应，口唱心和地赞美主。

在各门的墙柱旁边都有一间有门的房子；那里是洗燔祭牲的地方。

他带我到了外院，我见有些房子，院子周围有铺石地，铺石地上有三十间房子。

守卫室、墙柱和门廊的尺寸都与先前的一样；门的里面和门廊周围都有窗子。这门全长二十五公尺，宽十二公尺半（有古卷加“周围有门廊，长十二公尺半，宽两公尺半”之句）。
