And there were four tables for the burnt- offering, of hewn stone, a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereupon they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt- offering and the sacrifice.

Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are the holy chambers, where the priests that are near unto Jehovah shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meal- offering, and the sin- offering, and the trespass- offering; for the place is holy.

And this is the law of the trespass- offering: it is most holy.In the place where they kill the burnt- offering shall they kill the trespass- offering; and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle upon the altar round about.

But ye profane it, in that ye say, The table of Jehovah is polluted, and the fruit thereof, even its food, is contemptible.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a communion of the body of Christ?seeing that we, who are many, are one bread, one body: for we all partake of the one bread.Behold Israel after the flesh: have not they that eat the sacrifices communion with the altar?What say I then? that a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have communion with demons.Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: ye cannot partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons.

And he shall bring his trespass- offering unto Jehovah, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation, for a trespass- offering, unto the priest:

they shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.

The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before Jehovah.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.

that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

and he shall bring his trespass- offering unto Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin- offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin.And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass- offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons, unto Jehovah; one for a sin- offering, and the other for a burnt- offering.And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin- offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder:and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin- offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar: it is a sin- offering.And he shall offer the second for a burnt- offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven.But if his means suffice not for two turtle- doves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his oblation for that wherein he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin- offering: he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon; for it is a sin- offering.And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, upon the offerings of Jehovah made by fire: it is a sin- offering.And the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in any of these things, and he shall be forgiven: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as the meal- offering.

Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar. And ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of Jehovah is contemptible.
