In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which[ was] as the frame of a city on the south.

And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:

And it shall come to pass in the last days,[ that] the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

All[ this, said David], the LORD made me understand in writing by[ his] hand upon me,[ even] all the works of this pattern.

But in the last days it shall come to pass,[ that] the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set[ it]; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant[ it] upon an high mountain and eminent:In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.

And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where[ was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago,( whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.And I knew such a man,( whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but[ now] I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me[ to be], or[ that] he heareth of me.And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred[ and] forty[ and] four cubits,[ according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.And the building of the wall of it was[ of] jasper: and the city[ was] pure gold, like unto clear glass.And the foundations of the wall of the city[ were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation[ was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.And the twelve gates[ were] twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city[ was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass.And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb[ is] the light thereof.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet[ that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts[ is] his name.

And these[ are] the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.And the gates of the city[ shall be] after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.At the west side four thousand and five hundred,[ with] their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.[ It was] round about eighteen thousand[ measures]: and the name of the city from[ that] day[ shall be], The LORD[ is] there.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
