The alcoves and the projecting walls inside the gateway were surmounted by narrow parapet openings all around, as was the portico; the openings all around faced inward. The faces of the projecting walls were decorated with palm trees.

The rooms and their side walls inside the gateway had narrow openings on top of them. So did the porch. All the openings faced the inside. The front of each side wall was decorated with a palm tree.

通道與門廊四周的窗戶也和其他的門一樣，通道長二十五米，寬十二點五米。

門內有守衛室，長度和寬度都是一竿。室與室之間相距二點二米，通往聖殿的內門洞寬一竿，

義人必如生機勃勃的棕櫚樹，像茁壯生長的黎巴嫩香柏樹。

兩邊守衛室前面的矮牆高五十釐米，守衛室都是三米寬的正方形。

他量了殿後面、空地對面的那棟建築物及其兩邊走廊的長度，共長五十米。聖所、至聖所、院子對面的門廊及它們周圍的門檻、格子窗和走廊從地面到窗沿都鑲有木板。

內院十米寬的空地和外院的鋪石地對面有三層高的走廊彼此相對。

內院周圍的門廊都是長十二點五米，寬二點五米。

耶路撒冷靠近羊門的地方有一個水池，希伯來話叫畢士大，池邊有五條走廊，

後來我又看見一大群人，多得不可勝數。他們來自各國家、各部落、各民族、各語言族群，身穿白袍，手拿棕樹枝，站在寶座和羔羊面前，

如今我們好像對著鏡子觀看影像，模糊不清，但將來會看得真真切切。現在我所知道的有限，但將來會完全知道，如同主知道我一樣。
