Then I said,“ Not so, Sovereign Lord! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now I have never eaten anything found dead or torn by wild animals. No impure meat has ever entered my mouth.”

我说：“哎！主耶和华啊，我素来未曾被玷污，从幼年到如今没有吃过自死的，或被野兽撕裂的，那可憎的肉也未曾入我的口。”

我说：“唉！主耶和华，看哪，我从来未曾被玷污，从幼年到如今没有吃过自然死的，或被野兽撕裂的，那不洁净的肉也未曾入我的口。”

我说：“唉！主耶和华，看哪，我从来未曾被玷污，从幼年到如今没有吃过自然死的，或被野兽撕裂的，那不洁净的肉也未曾入我的口。”

我说：“唉，主耶和华啊！我从来没有玷污过自己，我自幼至今从未吃过自然死去的或被野兽撕碎的动物，不洁净的肉从未入过我的口。”

我说：“主耶和华啊！我从来没有玷污过自己。我从小到现在都没有吃过已经死去的，或是野兽撕裂的动物，不洁净的肉从没有进过我的口。”

我說：「哎！主耶和華啊，我素來未曾被玷污，從幼年到如今沒有吃過自死的，或被野獸撕裂的，那可憎的肉也未曾入我的口。」

我說：「唉！主耶和華，看哪，我從來未曾被玷污，從幼年到如今沒有吃過自然死的，或被野獸撕裂的，那不潔淨的肉也未曾入我的口。」

我說：「唉！主耶和華，看哪，我從來未曾被玷污，從幼年到如今沒有吃過自然死的，或被野獸撕裂的，那不潔淨的肉也未曾入我的口。」

我說：「唉，主耶和華啊！我從來沒有玷污過自己，我自幼至今從未吃過自然死去的或被野獸撕碎的動物，不潔淨的肉從未入過我的口。」

我說：“主耶和華啊！我從來沒有玷污過自己。我從小到現在都沒有吃過已經死去的，或是野獸撕裂的動物，不潔淨的肉從沒有進過我的口。”

我說：『啊！主永恆主啊，你看，我素來未曾被玷污；從幼年到如今都沒喫過自己死的、或被野獸撕裂的；不新鮮之肉也未曾入過我的口。』

我曰、噫、主耶和華歟、我心未嘗受污、自幼迄今、自斃之畜、野獸所裂之物、未嘗食之、可惡之肉、未嘗入口、

我曰、我主耶和華與、我未嘗不潔、自幼迄今、自斃之畜、噬傷之獸、未嘗果腹、可惡之物、未嘗入口。

我曰、主天主歟、哀哉、我未嘗染污穢、自斃之畜、與被獸噬斃之畜、自幼至今、未嘗食之、不潔之物、未嘗入我口、

Then I said,“ No, Lord and King! I won’t do this! I’ve never eaten anything‘ unclean.’ From the time I was young until now, I’ve never eaten anything that was found dead. And I’ve never eaten anything torn apart by wild animals.‘ Unclean’ meat has never entered my mouth.”

Then I said,“ Ah, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself. From my youth up till now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has tainted meat come into my mouth.”

Then I said,“ O Sovereign Lord, must I be defiled by using human dung? For I have never been defiled before. From the time I was a child until now I have never eaten any animal that died of sickness or was killed by other animals. I have never eaten any meat forbidden by the law.”

But I said,“ Oh, Lord GOD, I have never been defiled. From my youth until now I have not eaten anything that died naturally or was mauled by wild beasts. And impure meat has never entered my mouth.”

But I said,“ Oh, Lord God! Behold, I have never been defiled; for from my youth until now I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by animals, nor has any unclean meat ever entered my mouth!”

So I said,“ Ah, Lord GOD! Indeed I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.”

Then said I, Ah Lord Jehovah! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

But I said,“ Oh, Lord God, I have never been defiled. From my youth until now I have not eaten anything that died naturally or was mauled by wild beasts. And impure meat has never entered my mouth.”

Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

And I said,“ Ah, sovereign LORD, I have never been ceremonially defiled before. I have never eaten a carcass or an animal torn by wild beasts; from my youth up, unclean meat has never entered my mouth.”

Then I said,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals. No abominable meat has come into my mouth!”

While they were killing and I was left alone, I fell facedown, crying out,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

Then I said,“ Sovereign Lord, they are saying of me,‘ Isn’t he just telling parables?’”

“ Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied.“ I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

Do not eat any detestable thing.

“ Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said,“ I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”

who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;

“ Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things— they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.

“ You are to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of an animal torn by wild beasts; throw it to the dogs.

“‘ Anyone, whether native-born or foreigner, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then they will be clean.

If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted.

The priests must not eat anything, whether bird or animal, found dead or torn by wild animals.

“‘ If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches its carcass will be unclean till evening.Anyone who eats some of its carcass must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening. Anyone who picks up the carcass must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening.
