因我使他们被掳到外邦人中，后又聚集他们归回本地，他们就知道我是耶和华他们的神；我必不再留他们一人在外邦。

主耶和華曰、昔我使以色列族、擄於異邦、厥後返於故土、無不各歸其所、我不復遐棄、賦以聖神、俾知我乃其上帝耶和華。

昔我使彼擄至異邦、後集之歸於故土、不使其一人遺於異邦、是時彼則知我耶和華乃其天主、

Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.

Then they will know that I am the Lord their God. I let the nations take my people away as prisoners. But now I will bring them back to their own land. I will not leave anyone behind.

Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore.

Then my people will know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them away to exile and brought them home again. I will leave none of my people behind.

“我必出令，将以色列家分散在列国中，好像用筛子筛谷，连一粒也不落在地上。

这样，从那日以后，以色列家必知道我是耶和华他们的神。

我且说，神弃绝了他的百姓吗？断乎没有！因为我也是以色列人，亚伯拉罕的后裔，属便雅悯支派的。神并没有弃绝他预先所知道的百姓。你们岂不晓得经上论到以利亚是怎么说的呢？他在神面前怎样控告以色列人说：“主啊，他们杀了你的先知，拆了你的祭坛，只剩下我一个人；他们还要寻索我的命。”神的回话是怎么说的呢？他说：“我为自己留下七千人，是未曾向巴力屈膝的。”如今也是这样，照着拣选的恩典，还有所留的余数。既是出于恩典，就不在乎行为；不然，恩典就不是恩典了。这是怎么样呢？以色列人所求的，他们没有得着。惟有蒙拣选的人得着了；其余的就成了顽梗不化的。

这不是说神的话落了空。因为从以色列生的不都是以色列人，也不因为是亚伯拉罕的后裔就都作他的儿女；惟独“从以撒生的才要称为你的后裔。”这就是说，肉身所生的儿女不是神的儿女，惟独那应许的儿女才算是后裔。

以色列人哪，到那日，耶和华必从大河，直到埃及小河，将你们一一地收集，如同人打树拾果一样。

求你记念所吩咐你仆人摩西的话，说：‘你们若犯罪，我就把你们分散在万民中；但你们若归向我，谨守遵行我的诫命，你们被赶散的人虽在天涯，我也必从那里将他们招聚回来，带到我所选择立为我名的居所。’这都是你的仆人、你的百姓，就是你用大力和大能的手所救赎的。

必知道我、耶和华他们的神是与他们同在的，并知道他们以色列家是我的民。这是主耶和华说的。

也以诚实聘你归我，你就必认识我耶和华。”

那时，耶和华你的神必怜恤你，救回你这被掳的子民；耶和华你的神要回转过来，从分散你到的万民中将你招聚回来。你被赶散的人，就是在天涯的，耶和华你的神也必从那里将你招聚回来。
