这城要在地上万国人面前使我得颂赞，得荣耀，名为可喜可乐之城。万国人因听见我向这城所赐的福乐、所施的恩惠平安，就惧怕战兢。”

我们满口喜笑、满舌欢呼的时候，外邦中就有人说：“耶和华为他们行了大事！”耶和华果然为我们行了大事，我们就欢喜。

愿他们口中称赞神为高，手里有两刃的刀，为要报复列邦，刑罚万民。要用链子捆他们的君王，用铁镣锁他们的大臣；要在他们身上施行所记录的审判。他的圣民都有这荣耀。你们要赞美耶和华！

叫你们的信心既被试验，就比那被火试验仍然能坏的金子更显宝贵，可以在耶稣基督显现的时候得着称赞、荣耀、尊贵。

又使你得称赞、美名、尊荣，超乎他所造的万民之上，并照他所应许的使你归耶和华你神为圣洁的民。”

“我必显我的荣耀在列国中；万民就必看见我所行的审判与我在他们身上所加的手。这样，从那日以后，以色列家必知道我是耶和华他们的神。
