They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord.

萬有之主以色列之天主曰、我指己永生而誓、摩押必若所多瑪、亞捫族必若俄摩拉、蒺藜叢生、斥鹵遍地、蒺藜叢生斥鹵遍地或作必成長蒺藜有鹽坑之地必恆荒蕪、我之遺民、必掠其貨財、得其地業、我之遺民必掠其貨財得其地業或作我子民之餘者必掠其貨財我百姓之餘者必得其地業彼遭此事、因驕傲自大、毀謗萬有之主之民、

因爾劫掠多國、殺人流血、在國中、在邑中、行強暴、虐遇居民、故所餘之列國、亦將劫掠爾、

爾以何量量諸人、人亦以何量量諸爾、

以彼所加諸爾者還加之、視其所行、報之惟倍、於其所斟之杯、亦必倍斟以予之、

主使民沾恩於伊及人前、伊及人無不給其所乞、如是以色列人獲伊及人之貨財、○

眾婦須向其鄰、及旅於其家之女、乞金銀飾物與衣服、使爾子女服戴、如是、爾必獲伊及人之貨財、

主乘馬駕車、前往以勝、豈向江河氣憤、豈向江河顯威、顯威或作忿懥豈向滄海震怒、

凡擄人者亦見擄、以刃殺人者亦被刃殺、聖徒之恆忍與信在此矣、○
