You will say,‘ I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’—to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.

And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country.

Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which became plunder and mockery to the rest of the nations all around—therefore thus says the Lord God:“ Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with wholehearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country.”’“ Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame.But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.

In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

“ I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.

I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them,” Says the Lord your God.

When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice

then he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there he shall be until I visit him,” says the Lord;“ though you fight with the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed”’?”

“ Yet I will bring back the captives of Moab In the latter days,” says the Lord. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

“ Then say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land;and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.“ David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore.My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.The nations also will know that I, the Lord, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.”’”

In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.’

you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; He will no longer send you into captivity. He will punish your iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He will uncover your sins!

It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth.Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; Together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; And the people of Ammon shall obey them.The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River, And strike it in the seven streams, And make men cross over dry-shod.There will be a highway for the remnant of His people Who will be left from Assyria, As it was for Israel In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.

And Jacob called his sons and said,“ Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days:

For behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord,‘ that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,’ says the Lord.‘ And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.’”

And now, indeed, I am going to my people. Come, I will advise you what this people will do to your people in the latter days.”

When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and I am hallowed in them in the sight of many nations,then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer.And I will not hide My face from them anymore; for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”

And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God.”’”

‘ But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the Lord.”

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations.Not for your sake do I do this,” says the Lord GOD,“ let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel!”‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by.So they will say,‘ This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will do it.”‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will increase their men like a flock.Like a flock offered as holy sacrifices, like the flock at Jerusalem on its feast days, so shall the ruined cities be filled with flocks of men. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”’”

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob’s tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; The city shall be built upon its own mound, And the palace shall remain according to its own plan.

And I said to her,“ You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man— so, too, will I be toward you.”For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim.Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days.

You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire.
