昔斯地變為荒邱、今則有人居處、來自列邦、聚貨財、養牲畜、安居斯土、我攻伐之、攘奪其物、

昔荒蕪、今有人居處之地、其民集自列邦、養牲貿易、貿易或作獲財安居斯地、斯地原文作地之高處爾欲攻斯民、攘奪刧掠其物、

I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.”

I will rob those people. I’ll steal everything they have. Then I’ll turn my attention to the destroyed houses where people are living again. They have returned there from other nations. Now they are rich. They have plenty of livestock and all kinds of goods. They are living in Israel. It is the center of the earth.’

to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.

I will go to those formerly desolate cities that are now filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder, for the people are rich with livestock and other possessions now. They think the whole world revolves around them!’

故主耶和華曰、我必以埃及地、賜巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、彼必虜其庶民、掠其財物、奪其所獲、以犒其軍、

我遣之攻褻慢之邦、令其擊我所恚之民、虜之掠之、且蹂躪之、若街衢之泥塗、

以色列山久為荒蕪、惟彼庶民免於刃者、將自多國而集、安居斯土、歷年既久、爾必奉命而入其境、

萬軍之耶和華曰、斯土諸邑、悉成荒蕪、人畜俱泯、必有牧者之場、羣羊偃臥於彼、在山地窪地、南土之諸邑、便雅憫地、及耶路撒冷四周、猶大諸邑、必復有羣羊經核者之手下、耶和華言之矣、○

我將號召而集之、我已贖之、彼將繁衍、如昔日然、我將播之於列邦、彼在遠方、必記憶我、偕其子女得生而還、我將引之出埃及、集之出亞述、導之入基列、及利巴嫩、其地不足以居之、

耶和華之使者曰、萬軍之耶和華歟、爾怒耶路撒冷、及猶大諸邑、既歷七十年、不加矜憫、將至幾時乎、

殲亞實突之居民、及亞實基倫之執杖者、反手以攻以革倫、非利士之遺民滅亡、主耶和華言之矣、○

凡噬爾者必被噬、敵爾者必被虜、掠爾者必遭掠、刦爾者、我必使之受刦、

主耶和華曰、我潔爾脫於愆尤之日、必使爾邑復有居民、荒墟復建、荒寂之地、過者目睹、必復耕耘、人必曰、昔也斯土荒蕪、今則若伊甸囿、荒涼寂寞傾毀之邑、今有垣墉居民、

迦勒又曰、試觀有人自高地而下、更有一隊、從術士橡樹之路而來、

萬軍之耶和華曰、鋒刃歟、其起擊我牧者、與我同儔、其擊牧者、散厥羣羊、惟彼小子、我將反手加之、

爾言斯土荒蕪、人畜俱泯、付於迦勒底人手、厥後人必復購田疇於斯土、在便雅憫地、耶路撒冷四周、猶大諸邑、及山地窪地、南土之諸邑、人必以金購田、簽名緘封延證、因我必返其俘囚、耶和華言之矣、

緣此、萬軍之主耶和華、以色列之能者曰、噫嘻、我將洩忿於我仇、報復於我敵、措手於爾、盡鍊爾渣滓、悉去爾雜質、

當又呼曰、萬軍之耶和華云、我之諸邑、將豐阜而盈溢、耶和華必慰藉錫安邑、遴選耶路撒冷焉、○
