This entire region will be holy.In this area there will be a square section for the sanctuary, 875 by 875 feet, with 87½ feet of open space all around it.From this holy portion, you will measure off an area 8⅓ miles long and 3⅓ miles wide, in which the sanctuary, the most holy place, will stand.It will be a holy area of the land to be used by the priests who minister in the sanctuary, who approach to serve the LORD. It will be a place for their houses, as well as a holy area for the sanctuary.There will be another area 8⅓ miles long and 3⅓ miles wide for the Levites who minister in the temple; it will be their possession for towns to live in.“ As the property of the city, set aside an area 1⅔ miles wide and 8⅓ miles long, adjacent to the holy donation of land. It will be for the whole house of Israel.

In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bloom and fill the whole world with fruit.

The LORD has fulfilled what he promised. I have taken the place of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised. I have built the temple for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.I have provided a place there for the ark, where the LORD’s covenant is that he made with our ancestors when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

“ Look, the days are coming”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of people and the seed of animals.

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Old men and women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of advanced age.The streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in them.”
