“在那日，因罪恶与污秽的缘故，必有一泉源为大卫家和耶路撒冷的居民而开。”万军之耶和华说：“在那日，我要从地上除灭偶像的名，使它不再被记得；我也必使这地不再有先知，不再有污秽的灵。

上帝啊，你从圣所显为可畏，以色列的上帝是那将力量权能赐给他百姓的。上帝是应当称颂的！

若山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犊的灰，洒在不洁的人身上，尚且使人成圣，身体洁净，何况基督的血，他藉着永远的灵把自己无瑕疵地献给上帝，更能洗净我们的良心，除去致死的行为，好事奉那位永生的上帝。

以水藉着道把教会洗净，使她成为圣洁，好献给自己，作荣耀的教会，毫无玷污、皱纹等类的缺陷，而是圣洁没有瑕疵的。

偶像必全然废弃。

以法莲说：“我与偶像有何相干？”我应允他，顾念他：我如青翠的松树，你的果实从我而来。

我要与你，以及你世世代代的后裔坚立我的约，成为永远的约，是要作你和你后裔的上帝。我要把你现在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，赐给你和你的后裔永远为业；我也必作他们的上帝。”

我的居所必在他们中间；我要作他们的上帝，他们要作我的子民。

那些日子以后，我与以色列家所立的约是这样：我要将我的律法放在他们里面，写在他们心上。我要作他们的上帝，他们要作我的子民。这是耶和华说的。

然而，以色列的人数必多如海沙，不可量，不可数。从前在什么地方对他们说“你们不是我的子民”，将来就在那里称他们为“永生上帝的儿子”。

你们在那里要追念那玷污自己的所作所为，又要因所行的一切恶事厌恶自己。

上帝是为我们施行拯救的上帝；人能脱离死亡是在乎主—耶和华。

你们要使自己分别为圣，要成为圣，因为我是耶和华—你们的上帝。你们要谨守我的律例，遵行它们；我是使你们分别为圣的耶和华。

那时，你们必追念自己的恶行和不好的作为，就因你们的罪孽和可憎的事厌恶自己。

我必从列国带领你们，从列邦聚集你们，领你们回到本地。我必洒清水在你们身上，你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的污秽，弃绝一切的偶像。

我要使这三分之一经过火，熬炼他们，如熬炼银子；试炼他们，如试炼金子。他们要求告我的名，我必应允他们。我说：“这是我的子民。”他们要说：“耶和华是我的上帝。”

求你在迦密的树林中，以你的杖牧放你独居的民，你产业中的羊群；愿他们像古时一样，牧放在巴珊和基列。

他们要作我的子民，我要作他们的上帝。我要使他们彼此同心同道，好叫他们永远敬畏我，使他们和他们后世的子孙得享福乐。

他对我说：“人子啊，这是我宝座之地，是我脚掌所踏之地。我要住在这里，住在以色列人中间直到永远。以色列家和他们的君王不可再以淫行，或在高处以君王的尸首玷污我的圣名。因他们使自己的门槛挨近我的门槛，使自己的门框挨近我的门框，又使他们与我之间仅隔一墙，并且行可憎的事，玷污我的圣名，所以我发怒灭绝他们。

从那日以后，以色列家就知道我是耶和华—他们的上帝，

耶路撒冷和犹大一切的锅都必归万军之耶和华为圣。凡献祭的都必来取这锅，在其中煮肉。当那日，在万军之耶和华的殿中必不再有做买卖的人。
