They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

「到那天，必為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民開一個泉源，洗淨他們的罪惡和污穢。「到那天，我必剷除地上偶像的名號，使它們被人遺忘；我必除去地上的假先知和污穢的靈。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

上帝啊，你在聖所中令人敬畏。以色列的上帝把力量和權能賜給祂的子民。上帝當受稱頌！

如果把山羊血、公牛血和母牛犢的灰灑在污穢的人身上，就可以使他們聖潔，身體得到潔淨，更何況基督藉著永恆的靈把自己毫無瑕疵地獻給上帝呢？祂的血豈不更能洗淨我們的良心，使我們脫離導致滅亡的行為，以便事奉永活的上帝嗎？

好藉著自己的道用水洗淨教會，使她聖潔，以便把聖潔、完美、沒有污點、皺紋等瑕疵的榮耀教會呈獻給祂自己。

偶像必被徹底剷除。

「以法蓮啊，你要遠離偶像。我應允你的禱告，看顧你。我像一棵青翠的松樹，你的果實都來自於我。」

我要和你並你的子子孫孫立永恆的約，我要做你和你子孫的上帝。我要把你現在寄居的整個迦南賜給你和你的後裔永遠作產業，我也必做他們的上帝。」

我要住在他們中間。我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。

耶和華說：「那些日子以後，我將與以色列家立這樣的約，我要把我的律法放在他們腦中，寫在他們心上。我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。

「然而，以色列的人數必像海沙一樣量不盡、數不完。從前我在什麼地方對他們說『你們不是我的子民』，將來也要在那裡對他們說『你們是永活上帝的兒女』。

你們在那裡會想起以往玷污自己的行徑，並因自己的一切惡行而憎惡自己。』

我們的上帝是拯救的上帝，主耶和華救我們脫離死亡。

你們要潔淨自己，做聖潔的人，因為我是你們的上帝耶和華。你們要遵行我的律例。我是使你們聖潔的耶和華。

那時，你們便會想起自己邪惡的行徑，並因自己的罪惡和可憎行為而厭惡自己。

耶和華啊，求你用你的杖牧放屬於你的羊群，就是你的子民。他們獨自居住在叢林中，住在肥沃的田園間。願他們像從前一樣在巴珊和基列吃草。

他們要做我的子民，我要做他們的上帝。我要使他們永遠全心全意地敬畏我，使他們和子孫得到福樂。

「人子啊，這裡是我的寶座，是我踏腳的地方，我要與以色列人永遠同住。以色列的君民必不再因不忠貞或在高處為他們死去的君王立碑而玷污我的聖名。他們不再在我聖殿旁邊建廟宇，使它們的門檻和門柱緊挨著我的門檻和門柱，以致我與它們只有一牆之隔。他們曾經行可憎的事，玷污我的聖名，所以我發怒消滅他們。

從那天起，以色列必知道我是他們的上帝耶和華。

耶路撒冷和猶大的鍋都是萬軍之耶和華的聖物，來獻祭的人都可以用這些鍋煮祭肉。到那天，萬軍之耶和華的殿中必再也沒有商人。
