Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on

你所写的那两根杖要在他们眼前拿在手中，

你要在他们眼前，把写了字的那两根杖拿在手中，

你要在他们眼前，把写了字的那两根杖拿在手中，

你要拿着这两根写着字的杖让他们看，

你写上了字的那两根木杖，要在他们眼前握在手里；

你所寫的那兩根杖要在他們眼前拿在手中，

你要在他們眼前，把寫了字的那兩根杖拿在手中，

你要在他們眼前，把寫了字的那兩根杖拿在手中，

你要拿著這兩根寫著字的杖讓他們看，

你寫上了字的那兩根木杖，要在他們眼前握在手裡；

你所寫上的那兩根木棍在他們眼前拿在你手中時，

爾所書之二杖、當執於手、俾眾目睹、

爾所書之簡、當執於手、俾眾目睹、

爾所書之木簡、當執於手、使眾目睹、

Show them the sticks you wrote on.

When the sticks on which you write are in your hand before their eyes,

“ Then hold out the pieces of wood you have inscribed, so the people can see them.

“ Therefore, son of man, pack your belongings for exile and in the daytime, as they watch, set out and go from where you are to another place. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious people.

So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and their leaders gave him twelve staffs, one for the leader of each of their ancestral tribes, and Aaron’s staff was among them.Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the covenant law.The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron’s staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the Lord’s presence to all the Israelites. They looked at them, and each of the leaders took his own staff.

I spoke to the prophets, gave them many visions and told parables through them.”
