The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

你所写的那两根杖要在他们眼前拿在手中，

你要在他们眼前，把写了字的那两根杖拿在手中，

你要在他们眼前，把写了字的那两根杖拿在手中，

你要拿着这两根写着字的杖让他们看，

你写上了字的那两根木杖，要在他们眼前握在手里；

你所寫的那兩根杖要在他們眼前拿在手中，

你要在他們眼前，把寫了字的那兩根杖拿在手中，

你要在他們眼前，把寫了字的那兩根杖拿在手中，

你要拿著這兩根寫著字的杖讓他們看，

你寫上了字的那兩根木杖，要在他們眼前握在手裡；

你所寫上的那兩根木棍在他們眼前拿在你手中時，

爾所書之二杖、當執於手、俾眾目睹、

爾所書之簡、當執於手、俾眾目睹、

爾所書之木簡、當執於手、使眾目睹、

Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on

Show them the sticks you wrote on.

When the sticks on which you write are in your hand before their eyes,

“ Then hold out the pieces of wood you have inscribed, so the people can see them.

“ When the sticks you have written on are in your hand and in full view of the people,

And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thy hand before their eyes.

“ When the sticks you have written on are in your hand and in full view of the people,

And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

The sticks you write on will be in your hand in front of them.

The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.”’

So as for you, son of man, prepare for yourself baggage for exile and go into exile by day in their sight; that is, go into exile from your place to another place in their sight. Perhaps they will understand, though they are a rebellious house.

So Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their leaders gave him a staff, one for each leader, for their fathers’ households, twelve staffs in all, with the staff of Aaron among their staffs.Then Moses left the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the testimony.Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, Aaron’s staff for the house of Levi had sprouted and produced buds and bloomed with blossoms, and it yielded ripe almonds.Moses then brought out all the staffs from the presence of the Lord to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his staff.
