“ When the children of your people speak to you, saying,‘ Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’

你本国的子民问你说：‘这是什么意思？你不指示我们吗？’

当你本国的子民对你说：‘你这是什么意思，你不指示我们吗？’

当你本国的子民对你说：‘你这是什么意思，你不指示我们吗？’

当你的同胞问你这是什么意思时，

如果你本国的人民问你：‘你不告诉我们这些木杖是什么意思吗？’

你本國的子民問你說：『這是甚麼意思？你不指示我們嗎？』

當你本國的子民對你說：『你這是甚麼意思，你不指示我們嗎？』

當你本國的子民對你說：『你這是甚麼意思，你不指示我們嗎？』

當你的同胞問你這是什麼意思時，

如果你本國的人民問你：‘你不告訴我們這些木杖是甚麼意思嗎？’

你本國的子民若問你說：「你這有甚麼意思，你不告訴我們麼？」

爾民族問爾曰、作此何意、不示我乎、

如民問爾曰、作此何為、請以告我、

如爾民問爾曰、爾為此何意、請以告我、

“ When your people ask you,‘ Won’t you tell us what you mean by this?’

“ Your people will ask you,‘ What do you mean by this?’

And when your people say to you,‘ Will you not tell us what you mean by these?’

When your people ask you what your actions mean,

When your people ask you,‘ Won’t you explain to us what you mean by these things?’—

And when the sons of your people speak to you, saying,‘ Will you not declare to us what you mean by these?’

“ And when the children of your people speak to you, saying,‘ Will you not show us what you mean by these?’—

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not show us what thou meanest by these?

When your people ask you,‘ Won’t you explain to us what you mean by these things?’—

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou[ meanest] by these?

When your people say to you,‘ Will you not tell us what these things mean?’

The people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?”

“ Son of man, hasn’t the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you,‘ What are you doing?’

Then I said,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! They say of me,‘ Isn’t he a speaker of parables?’”

“ Say now to the rebellious house,‘ Don’t you know what these things mean?’ Tell them,‘ Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took its king, and its princes, and brought them to him to Babylon.
