Then He said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the entire house of Israel; behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’

主對我說：『人子啊，這些骸骨就是以色列全家；看哪，他們常說：「我們的骸骨都很枯乾；我們的指望都滅沒了；我們都被割絕淨盡了。」

主諭我曰、人子歟、此骨即以色列全家、彼曰、我骨已枯、我望已失、我悉滅絕、

主謂我曰、人子、此骨譬諸以色列全家、彼曰我命已喪、我骨已枯、我望已絕。

主諭我曰、人子、此骨乃以色列全族、彼曰、我骨已枯、我已失望、我已滅絕、

Then he said to me:“ Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say,‘ Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’

Then the Lord said to me,“ Son of man, these bones stand for all the people of Israel. The people say,‘ Our bones are dried up. We’ve lost all hope. We are destroyed.’

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying,‘ We have become old, dry bones— all hope is gone. Our nation is finished.’

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look how they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say,‘ Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look how they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Look, they are saying,‘ Our bones are dry, our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost. We are completely cut off.’

And I will multiply people on you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities will be inhabited and the ruins will be rebuilt.

Will the Lord reject forever? And will He never be favorable again?Has His favor ceased forever? Has His promise come to an end forever?Has God forgotten to be gracious, Or has He in anger withdrawn His compassion? Selah

Therefore this is what the Lord God says:“ Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name.

The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.He had me pass among them all around, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and behold, they were very dry.Then He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered,“ Lord God, You Yourself know.”Again He said to me,“ Prophesy over these bones and say to them,‘ You dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’This is what the Lord God says to these bones:‘ Behold, I am going to make breath enter you so that you may come to life.And I will attach tendons to you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you so that you may come to life; and you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a loud noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.And I looked, and behold, tendons were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.

“ Now you, son of man, take for yourself one stick and write on it,‘ For Judah and for the sons of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it,‘ For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’

As when one plows and breaks open the earth, Our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.

Waters flowed over my head; I said,“ I am cut off!”

And you were dead in your offenses and sins,

“ At that time,” declares the Lord,“ I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.”

But Zion said,“ The Lord has abandoned me, And the Lord has forgotten me.”

And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together, And they will appoint for themselves one leader, And they will go up from the land, For the day of Jezreel will be great.

“ Have you not observed what these people have asserted, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord chose, He has rejected them’? So they despise My people as no longer being a nation in their sight.This is what the Lord says:‘ If My covenant for day and night does not continue, and I have not established the fixed patterns of heaven and earth,then I would reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so as not to take from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will restore their fortunes and have mercy on them.’ ”

and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written:“ The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”

say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Behold, I am going to take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.” ’

Why do you say, Jacob, and you assert, Israel,“ My way is hidden from the Lord, And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?

Keep your feet from being bare, And your throat from thirst; But you said,‘ It is hopeless! No! For I have loved strangers, And I will walk after them.’

Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying,“ Behold, we are passing away, we are perishing, we are all perishing!Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the Lord, must die. Are we to perish completely?”

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;
