主耶和華說，你們應當知道，我這樣做並不是為了你們。以色列人啊，你們應當為自己的行為抱愧蒙羞。』

主耶和华说：你们要知道，我这样行不是为你们。以色列家啊，当为自己的行为抱愧蒙羞。

主耶和华说，你们应当知道，我这样做并不是为了你们。以色列人啊，你们应当为自己的行为抱愧蒙羞。’

你们要知道我这样行，不是为了你们的缘故；以色列家啊！你们要因自己的行为抱愧蒙羞。这是主耶和华的宣告。

主永恆主發神諭說：我這樣行、並不是為了你們的緣故，這是你們要知道的；以色列家啊，你們倒要為你們自己的行徑、而抱愧蒙羞呢。

主耶和華曰、以色列家乎、當知我之行是、非為爾故、宜為爾途含羞懷慚、

耶和華曰、以色列族、爾作不端、當自懷慙、我施斯恩、非為爾故、爾其知之。

主天主曰、以色列族歟、爾曹當知我行此、非為爾故、爾曹當因爾之行為、含羞抱愧、

I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel!

I want you to know that I am not doing those things for your benefit,” announces the Lord and King.“ People of Israel, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Your conduct has brought dishonor to you.” ’ ”

It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.

But remember, says the Sovereign Lord, I am not doing this because you deserve it. O my people of Israel, you should be utterly ashamed of all you have done!

It is not for your sake that I will act— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— let this be known to you. Be ashamed and humiliated because of your ways, house of Israel!

I am not doing this for your sake,” declares the Lord God;“ let that be known to you. Be ashamed and humiliated for your ways, house of Israel!”

Not for your sake do I do this,” says the Lord GOD,“ let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel!”

Nor for your sake do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.

It is not for your sake that I will act”— the declaration of the Lord God—“ let this be known to you. Be ashamed and humiliated because of your ways, house of Israel!

Understand that it is not for your sake I am about to act, declares the sovereign LORD. Be ashamed and embarrassed by your behavior, O house of Israel.

I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh.“ Let it be known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”

「因此，你要告訴以色列人，主耶和華這樣說，『以色列人啊，我要行這事並非因為你們的緣故，而是因為我聖名的緣故，就是你們在所去列國褻瀆的聖名。

你們能佔領他們的土地並非因為你們公義、行為正直。你們的上帝耶和華從你們面前趕走那些民族，是因為他們邪惡，也是為了實現祂給你們祖先亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的誓言。

從前我們也愚蠢、悖逆、易受迷惑，受各種私慾和享樂的驅使，心裡充滿了嫉妒和惡念，令人憎惡，也彼此憎恨。但我們的救主上帝向人彰顯了祂的恩慈和仁愛，藉著重生之洗和聖靈的更新拯救了我們，這並非因為我們有義行，而是因為祂的憐憫。上帝藉著我們的救主耶穌基督把聖靈豐豐富富地澆灌在我們身上。

上帝拯救了我們，並呼召我們過聖潔的生活，不是因為我們的行為，而是出於祂的旨意和恩典。早在萬古以前，祂就在基督耶穌裡把這恩典賜給我們了，

可以在今後的生活中不再隨從人的私慾，只服從上帝的旨意。你們從前長期沉溺於異教徒的嗜好——淫亂、縱慾、醉酒、狂歡、宴樂和可憎的偶像崇拜。

做了現在想起來也覺得羞恥的事，得到了什麼益處呢？那些事只能導致死亡！

說：「我的上帝啊，我羞愧難當，不敢抬頭看你，因為我們的惡行滅頂，我們的罪惡滔天。

我的上帝啊，求你側耳垂聽，睜眼眷顧我們荒涼的土地和屬於你名下的城。我們向你祈求，並非因為我們有什麼義行，乃是因為你充滿憐憫。主啊，求你垂聽！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你應允，立刻行動！我的上帝啊，為你自己的緣故，求你不要耽延，因為這城和這民都屬於你的名下。」

我要赦免你所有的罪，那時你想起這事會羞愧難當，不敢再開口。這是主耶和華說的。』」
