I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.

爾在異邦污我大名、我必使之成聖、我於爾前既顯為聖、異邦則知我乃耶和華、主耶和華言之矣、

爾在異邦中、使我大名被褻瀆、我必使人崇我大名為聖、我必使人崇我大名為聖或作我必使我之大名仍顯為聖我於爾中自顯為聖、使異邦人異邦人或作爾目睹、異邦人則知我乃主、此乃主天主所言、

I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.

But I will show everyone how holy my great name is. You have treated it as if it were not holy. So I will use you to prove to the nations how holy I am. Then they will know that I am the Lord,” announces the Lord and King.

And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

I will show how holy my great name is— the name on which you brought shame among the nations. And when I reveal my holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign Lord, then the nations will know that I am the Lord.

I will honor the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations— the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— when I demonstrate my holiness through you in their sight.

And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God,“ when I show Myself holy among you in their sight.

And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord GOD,“ when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.

And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

I will honor the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations— the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am Yahweh”— the declaration of the Lord God—“ when I demonstrate My holiness through you in their sight.

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I[ am] the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

I will magnify my great name that has been profaned among the nations, that you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the sovereign LORD, when I magnify myself among you in their sight.

I will accept you as a pleasant aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries in which you have been scattered. I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations.

“‘“ I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.

but Yahweh of Armies is exalted in justice, and God the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness.

They will know that I am Yahweh their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. Then I will leave none of them captive any more.

“ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”

When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations,“ Yahweh has done great things for them.”Yahweh has done great things for us, and we are glad.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked toward me.How great are his signs! How mighty are his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. His dominion is from generation to generation.

“ I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel;“ for he is the living God, and steadfast forever. His kingdom is that which will not be destroyed. His dominion will be even to the end.He delivers and rescues. He works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood. I will rain on him, and on his hordes, and on the many peoples who are with him, an overflowing shower, with great hailstones, fire, and sulfur.I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”’

and say,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I am against you, Sidon. I will be glorified among you. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have executed judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill; because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

The king answered to Daniel, and said,“ Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.”

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him,“ What are you doing?”At the same time my understanding returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.So the nations will fear Yahweh’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear,

He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said,‘ I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.“ You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.

Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”These are the waters of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with Yahweh, and he was sanctified in them.
