And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God,“ when I show Myself holy among you in their sight.

爾在異邦污我大名、我必使之成聖、我於爾前既顯為聖、異邦則知我乃耶和華、主耶和華言之矣、

爾在異邦中、使我大名被褻瀆、我必使人崇我大名為聖、我必使人崇我大名為聖或作我必使我之大名仍顯為聖我於爾中自顯為聖、使異邦人異邦人或作爾目睹、異邦人則知我乃主、此乃主天主所言、

I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.

But I will show everyone how holy my great name is. You have treated it as if it were not holy. So I will use you to prove to the nations how holy I am. Then they will know that I am the Lord,” announces the Lord and King.

And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

I will show how holy my great name is— the name on which you brought shame among the nations. And when I reveal my holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign Lord, then the nations will know that I am the Lord.

I will honor the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations— the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— when I demonstrate my holiness through you in their sight.

And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord GOD,“ when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.

And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

I will honor the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations— the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am Yahweh”— the declaration of the Lord God—“ when I demonstrate My holiness through you in their sight.

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I[ am] the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

I will magnify my great name that has been profaned among the nations, that you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the sovereign LORD, when I magnify myself among you in their sight.

I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.

As a soothing aroma I will accept you when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered; and I will show Myself to be holy among you in the sight of the nations.

“ And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not allow My holy name to be profaned anymore. But the nations will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.

But the Lord of armies will be exalted in judgment, And the holy God will show Himself holy in righteousness.

Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer.

“ Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.”

When the Lord brought back the captives of Zion, We were like those who dream.Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations,“ The Lord has done great things for them.”The Lord has done great things for us; We are joyful.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

I am pleased to declare the signs and miracles that the Most High God has done for me.How great are His signs And how mighty are His miracles! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation.

I issue a decree that in all the realm of my kingdom people are to tremble and fear before the God of Daniel; For He is the living God and enduring forever, And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, And His dominion will be forever.He rescues, saves, and performs signs and miracles In heaven and on earth, He who has also rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

With plague and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone.So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.” ’

and say,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Behold, I am against you, Sidon, And I will appear in My glory in your midst. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I execute judgments against her, And I will reveal Myself as holy in her.

Nebuchadnezzar responded and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or population of any language that speaks anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego shall be torn limb from limb and their houses made a rubbish heap, because there is no other god who is able to save in this way.”

The king responded to Daniel and said,“ Your God truly is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.”

“ But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom endures from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are of no account, But He does according to His will among the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth; And no one can fend off His hand Or say to Him,‘ What have You done?’At that time my reason returned to me. And my majesty and splendor were restored to me for the honor of my kingdom, and my state counselors and my nobles began seeking me out; so I was reestablished in my sovereignty, and surpassing greatness was added to me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.”

You will arise and have compassion on Zion; For it is time to be gracious to her, For the appointed time has come.Surely Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And feel pity for her dust.So the nations will fear the name of the Lord, And all the kings of the earth, Your glory.For the Lord has built up Zion; He has appeared in His glory.

but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect;

Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has thrown into the sea; And the choicest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea.The waters cover them; They went down into the depths like a stone.Your right hand, Lord, is majestic in power; Your right hand, Lord, destroys the enemy.And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You; You send out Your burning anger, and it consumes them like chaff.At the blast of Your nostrils the waters were piled up, The flowing waters stood up like a heap; The depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoils; I shall be satisfied against them; I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them.’You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Who is like You among the gods, Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?You reached out with Your right hand, The earth swallowed them.In Your faithfulness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation.The peoples have heard, they tremble; Anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom were terrified; The leaders of Moab, trembling grips them; All the inhabitants of Canaan have despaired.Terror and dread fall upon them; By the greatness of Your arm they are motionless as stone, Until Your people pass over, Lord, Until the people pass over whom You have purchased.

But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ Since you did not trust in Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, for that reason you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”Those were called the waters of Meribah, because the sons of Israel argued with the Lord, and He proved Himself holy among them.
