爾在異邦中、使我大名被褻瀆、我必使人崇我大名為聖、我必使人崇我大名為聖或作我必使我之大名仍顯為聖我於爾中自顯為聖、使異邦人異邦人或作爾目睹、異邦人則知我乃主、此乃主天主所言、

I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.

But I will show everyone how holy my great name is. You have treated it as if it were not holy. So I will use you to prove to the nations how holy I am. Then they will know that I am the Lord,” announces the Lord and King.

And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

I will show how holy my great name is— the name on which you brought shame among the nations. And when I reveal my holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign Lord, then the nations will know that I am the Lord.

And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God,“ when I show Myself holy among you in their sight.

And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord GOD,“ when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.

And I will sanctify my great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I[ am] the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

I will magnify my great name that has been profaned among the nations, that you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the sovereign LORD, when I magnify myself among you in their sight.

I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.

When I bring you from the peoples and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, I will accept you as a pleasing aroma. And I will demonstrate My holiness through you in the sight of the nations.

So I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.

But the Lord of Hosts is exalted by His justice, and the holy God is distinguished by righteousness.

They will know that I am Yahweh their God when I regather them to their own land after having exiled them among the nations. I will leave none of them behind.

“ Stop your fighting— and know that I am God, exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.”

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.Our mouths were filled with laughter then, and our tongues with shouts of joy. Then they said among the nations,“ The Lord has done great things for them.”The Lord had done great things for us; we were joyful.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

I am pleased to tell you about the miracles and wonders the Most High God has done for me.How great are His miracles, and how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation.

I issue a decree that in all my royal dominion, people must tremble in fear before the God of Daniel: For He is the living God, and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed, and His dominion has no end.He rescues and delivers; He performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth, for He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.”

I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed. I will pour out torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone on him, as well as his troops and the many peoples who are with him.I will display My greatness and holiness, and will reveal Myself in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.

You are to say: This is what the Lord God says: Look! I am against you, Sidon, and I will display My glory within you. They will know that I am Yahweh when I execute judgments against her and demonstrate My holiness through her.

Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed,“ Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent His angel and rescued His servants who trusted in Him. They violated the king’s command and risked their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.Therefore I issue a decree that anyone of any people, nation, or language who says anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will be torn limb from limb and his house made a garbage dump. For there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”

The king said to Daniel,“ Your God is indeed God of gods, Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, since you were able to reveal this mystery.”

But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does what He wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can hold back His hand or say to Him,“ What have You done?”At that time my sanity returned to me, and my majesty and splendor returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and my nobles sought me out, I was reestablished over my kingdom, and even more greatness came to me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and glorify the King of heaven, because all His works are true and His ways are just. He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her— the appointed time has come.For Your servants take delight in its stones and favor its dust.Then the nations will fear the name of Yahweh, and all the kings of the earth Your glory,for the Lord will rebuild Zion; He will appear in His glory.

but honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.

He threw Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea; the elite of his officers were drowned in the Red Sea.The floods covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone.Lord, Your right hand is glorious in power. Lord, Your right hand shattered the enemy.You overthrew Your adversaries by Your great majesty. You unleashed Your burning wrath; it consumed them like stubble.The waters heaped up at the blast of Your nostrils; the currents stood firm like a dam. The watery depths congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said:“ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil. My desire will be gratified at their expense. I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them.”But You blew with Your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Lord, who is like You among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, revered with praises, performing wonders?You stretched out Your right hand, and the earth swallowed them.You will lead the people You have redeemed with Your faithful love; You will guide them to Your holy dwelling with Your strength.When the peoples hear, they will shudder; anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified; trembling will seize the leaders of Moab; the inhabitants of Canaan will panic;and terror and dread will fall on them. They will be as still as a stone because of Your powerful arm until Your people pass by, Lord, until the people whom You purchased pass by.

But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not trust Me to show My holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land I have given them.”These are the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the Lord, and He showed His holiness to them.
