“ Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight.

“ Son of man, the people of Israel used to live in their own land. But they made it‘ unclean’ because of how they acted and the way they lived. To me they were‘ unclean’ like a woman having her monthly period.

“ Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity.

“ Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by the evil way they lived. To me their conduct was as unclean as a woman’s menstrual cloth.

“ Son of man, while the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it with their conduct and actions. Their behavior before me was like menstrual impurity.

有言出妻、任其他適、既出勿納、恐斯邦染其污衊。耶和華曰、惟爾縱欲背予、崇事他上帝、今使爾歸試於我、曠覽崇坵、何往非爾狥欲之地、爾憩坐途側以惑眾、若亞喇伯人、潛身曠野以害人、爾作惡縱欲、污衊斯邦。

爾行穢濁、污衊斯土、故不得安居、當往他方、遭禍不淺、

彼污衊我地、以穢惡之尸骸、狼藉我土、故我必罰其罪、較昔受苦、其數維倍。

我儕污衊、雖有片長、仍如不潔之布、我若已枯之葉、因罪見驅、為風飄颻、

異邦人行此、自取污衊、故我逐之、爾勿則效、彼已有玷、我治其罪、使地不載、故爾曹不論宗族賓旅、當守我法度禮儀、毋蹈此愆。昔斯土之人、專務行此、使地染污、如爾效之、地必不容爾、與彼相同。

焚厥子女、以祭鬼神兮、流子女無辜之血、以祀迦南之偶像、污衊斯土兮、

如殺人命、則污衊斯土、殺人者未償命、則污仍不去、我耶和華居以色列族中、故不可加以污衊。

民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、

婦行癸水、必異室以居、歷至七日、凡捫之者必蒙不潔、迨夕乃免。別居之時、婦所寢之床、所坐之座、必蒙不潔。凡捫其床、及其座者必蒙不潔、當澣衣濯身、迨夕乃免。
