“ Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight.

“ Son of man, the people of Israel used to live in their own land. But they made it‘ unclean’ because of how they acted and the way they lived. To me they were‘ unclean’ like a woman having her monthly period.

“ Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity.

“ Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by the evil way they lived. To me their conduct was as unclean as a woman’s menstrual cloth.

“ Son of man, while the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it with their conduct and actions. Their behavior before me was like menstrual impurity.

我領你們進肥美的園地，來喫它的果子和美物，但你們進入了，就玷污我的地，使我的產業成為可厭惡。

永恆主的話傳與我，說：『人若把妻子離出去，而妻子離開他而去，做了別人的妻子，她哪能再回轉來歸前夫呢？那麼那婦人豈不是大大被玷污了麼？然而你，你和許多情人行淫，還要回轉來歸於我？永恆主發神諭說。你向無草木的高處舉目看吧！在哪一個地方你沒有受過蹧蹋？你坐在路旁等候情人，好像亞拉伯人在曠野埋伏着一樣：你竟用你的淫行和邪惡把這地都沾污了。

起來，去吧！因為這不是個安居之地；為了「不潔淨」的緣故你們必被毁滅，慘重的毁滅。

我必倍加報應他們的罪孽和罪惡，因為他們用他們可憎之像的屍體沾污了我的地，用他們可厭惡的偶像充滿了我的產業。』

我們都像不潔淨的人，我們所有的義行都像染了經血的衣服；我們都像葉子漸漸凋殘；我們的罪孽像風、把我們帶走了。

『不可因這些事的任一樣而蒙不潔，因為我從你們面前所趕走的外國人、就是在這一切事上蒙不潔的。連地也蒙不潔呢，所以我向那地察罰它的罪愆，那地就把它的居民吐出。故此你們要守我的律例和典章；這一切可厭惡的事、無論是本地人、是在你們中間寄居的外僑、都不可作，（因為這一切可厭惡的事、在你們以前那地的人都行了，而地就蒙了不潔；）免得你們使那地蒙不潔時、地就把你們吐出，像吐出你們以前的列國人一樣。

他們宰獻了自己的兒子和女兒給魔鬼，流了無辜人的血，他們兒女的血，他們所宰獻給迦南之偶像的；那地就因血而被沾污了。

這樣，你們就不至於使你們所在之地成了俗污，因為血能使地成了俗污；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地之被血染就不能得潔除。你們所住的地、就是我所居於其中的、你們不可使它蒙不潔，因為我永恆主居於以色列人中間。』

大地在它居民之下被沾污，因為他們越犯了律法，違背了律例，違犯了永遠的約。

由於她淫行的輕薄性，她把這地都沾污了，去跟石頭和木榦行姦淫。

『女人呢，若有所洩漏，而她身上所洩漏的是經血，那麼、她就有月經污穢七天；凡觸着她的就不潔淨到晚上。在月經污穢中、凡她所躺的東西、都不潔淨；凡她所坐的東西、也都不潔淨。凡觸着她的床的、要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗澡，但還是不潔淨到晚上。凡觸着她所坐的任何物件的、總要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗淨，但還是不潔淨到晚上。那物件若在那女人床上、或在那女人所坐的物件上，觸着它的、就不潔淨到晚上。男人若和那女人親密地同寢，染着她的月經污穢，就不潔淨七天；凡他所躺的床都不潔淨。『女人不在月經污穢期內、若患着厲害的血漏許多日子，或是在月經污穢期外還患着血漏；那麼、儘血漏的日子、她的不潔淨、就像月經污穢的日子一樣。儘她血漏的日子、凡她所躺的床、她都要看為月經污穢的床一樣；凡她所坐的物件、都不潔淨，像月經污穢之不潔淨一樣。凡觸着這些東西的就不潔淨；他要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗澡，但還是不潔淨到晚上。女人若得潔淨、沒有漏症，她總要自己算七天，然後才潔淨。第八天她要取兩隻斑鳩、或是兩隻雛鴿，帶到會棚的出入處，交給祭司。祭司要獻一隻為解罪祭，一隻為燔祭；為了那人不潔淨之漏症，祭司要在永恆主面前這樣為她行除罪禮。『你們要這樣使以色列人和他們的不潔淨隔離，免得他們使我的帳幕、那在他們中間的帳幕、蒙不潔，而他們就因自己的不潔淨而死亡。』這是關於患漏症者的法規，關於那有精液從身上洩出、因而不潔淨的，關於在污穢期中有月經病的，關於男性或女性患漏症的，以及關於男人和不潔淨女人同寢的法規。
