“ Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight.

“ Son of man, the people of Israel used to live in their own land. But they made it‘ unclean’ because of how they acted and the way they lived. To me they were‘ unclean’ like a woman having her monthly period.

“ Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity.

“ Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by the evil way they lived. To me their conduct was as unclean as a woman’s menstrual cloth.

“ Son of man, while the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it with their conduct and actions. Their behavior before me was like menstrual impurity.

我導爾至膏腴之地、得食其果實嘉物、惟爾既入我地、使地染污穢、使我之業為可憎之地、

主有言諭我曰、人若出妻、遂離之為他人之妻、前夫豈可復娶之乎、如復娶、豈不使地沾染污穢乎、爾從事多神、若婦之與多人行淫、猶思歸我乎、爾從事多神若婦之與多人行淫猶思歸我乎或作爾雖崇事多神若婦之與多人行淫我仍命爾當歸誠於我此乃主所言、爾舉目以望高邱、試觀何處非爾受污之地、爾坐道旁俟人、若亞拉伯人伏於曠野、爾行淫作惡、污穢斯地、

爾曹當起而往、此非爾安居之地、因污穢故、必翦滅爾、翦滅殆盡、

彼之愆尤罪惡加增、我必先懲罰之、因彼污穢我地、以可憎之偶像、與可惡之事、充於我土、我土原文作我業○

我儕皆如不潔之人、所視為善義、悉如污穢之衣、我儕衰枯、猶如落葉、我儕之罪愆逐我、如被風飄、

爾毋行此沾污己身、我於爾前所將逐之諸族皆行之、自取沾污、其地亦染污穢、緣此我討居民之罪、使地不容之、原文作使地吐其居民故爾曹無論土著、及寄居爾中之外邦客旅、皆當遵守我之律例法度、毋行此可憎之事、在爾以前居此地之民、行此一切可憎之事、使地染污穢、爾若亦玷污斯地、惟恐地不容不容原文作吐下同爾、如不容在爾以前之居民然、

屠戮子女、祭祀鬼魔、殺害無辜之兒女、祀迦南之偶像、因而斯地被血污穢、

毋污爾所居之地、殺人流血、即為污其地、若殺人流血於地、不殺殺人者流其血、則地不得潔、毋污爾所居之地、因我耶和華亦居此地、在以色列人中、

斯地為居民所污、蓋其違例犯法、廢棄永約、

邪淫妄作、或作行淫惡名遍聞各處狥慾崇拜木石偶像、污穢斯地、

凡婦行經、必不潔七日、凡捫之者必不潔至夕、不潔之日、婦所寢所坐之物、皆為不潔、凡捫其床褥者、必不潔至夕、當滌其衣、以水濯身、凡捫其所坐之物者、必不潔至夕、當滌其衣、以水濯身、其床褥與其所坐之物、凡捫其上之物者、必不潔至夕、人若與如此之婦同寢、則染其污、亦必不潔七日、其人所寢之床褥、亦為不潔、○若婦未行經時崩漏多日、或行經後崩漏數日、凡崩漏時不潔、與行經時無異、崩漏之時、婦所寢之床、所坐之物、悉為不潔、與行經時無異、凡捫此物者、必不潔至夕、當滌其衣、以水濯身、若崩漏已止、當自止之時計七日、而後為潔、至第八日、當取二鳲鳩、或二雛鴿、攜至會幕門、授於祭司、祭司獻之、一為贖罪祭、一為火焚祭、因婦崩漏不潔、在主前為之贖罪、爾當戒以色列人毋染污穢、恐其蒙不潔、而污其中我之居所、遂至死亡、以上乃論男患白濁與遺精蒙不潔、女行經與患崩漏、並人與不潔之婦同寢之例、
