And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better[ unto you] than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

在爾斯山岡、我使人民牲畜、蕃衍昌盛、生養眾多、必使爾復有居民、有如昔日、賜福於爾、較前尤厚、爾則知我乃主、

I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

I will cause many people and animals to live in you, Israel. They will have many babies. I will cause people to make their homes in your towns, just as I did in the past. I will help you succeed more than ever before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

And I will multiply on you man and beast, and they shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former times, and will do more good to you than ever before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

I will increase not only the people, but also your animals. O mountains of Israel, I will bring people to live on you once again. I will make you even more prosperous than you were before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.

Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing[ their] flocks to lie down.

And ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it[ is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry[ land];And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.The silver[ is] mine, and the gold[ is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.For this[ is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for[ as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

But now I[ will] not[ be] unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.For the seed[ shall be] prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these[ things].And it shall come to pass,[ that] as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not,[ but] let your hands be strong.For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.For this[ is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.In that he saith, A new[ covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old[ is] ready to vanish away.

God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this[ is] his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities[ are become] fenced,[ and] are inhabited.

And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence[ against] the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.For I will cleanse their blood[ that] I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day[ is] blasphemed.Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore[ they shall know] in that day that I[ am] he that doth speak: behold,[ it is] I.

I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.

I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.
