“ As for you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say:‘ O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD!

You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say,“ You mountains of Israel, hear Yahweh’s word.

Say to the southern forest:‘ Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am about to set fire to you, and it will consume all your trees, both green and dry. The blazing flame will not be quenched, and every face from south to north will be scorched by it. (niv)

I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. (niv)

I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. (niv)

O land, land, land, hear the word of the Lord! (niv)
