I will make you desolate forever; your towns will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

被殺者、將偃仆爾中、爾則知我乃主、

必使爾城邑傾圮、使爾變為荒蕪、爾則知我乃主、

故主天主如是云、我必舉手降罰以東、絕人與畜於其間、使以東地荒蕪、自提幔至於底但、俱必殞亡於刃、

不愛不愛或作而惡以掃、使其諸山荒蕪、使其地業為豺狼豺狼或作野犬之洞穴、以東人若曰、我雖遭傾毀、我雖遭傾毀或作我雖貧乏傾圮之邑、必復建造、萬有之主如是云、任彼建造、我必毀之、人必稱其土為惡境、稱其民為主所永怒之民、

我目不顧惜爾、我不加矜憫、必視爾行為、及爾中一切可憎之事、施報於爾、爾則知我乃主、○

萬有之主以色列之天主曰、我指己永生而誓、摩押必若所多瑪、亞捫族必若俄摩拉、蒺藜叢生、斥鹵遍地、蒺藜叢生斥鹵遍地或作必成長蒺藜有鹽坑之地必恆荒蕪、我之遺民、必掠其貨財、得其地業、我之遺民必掠其貨財得其地業或作我子民之餘者必掠其貨財我百姓之餘者必得其地業

以東必為荒蕪、凡過之者、見其諸災、必驚異哂笑、主曰、昔所多瑪、俄摩拉、及其鄰邑傾覆、以東亦必若是、無人居於彼、無人旅於彼、

在爾斯山岡、我使人民牲畜、蕃衍昌盛、生養眾多、必使爾復有居民、有如昔日、賜福於爾、較前尤厚、爾則知我乃主、
