Because you rejoiced when the inheritance of Israel became desolate, that is how I will treat you. You will be desolate, Mount Seir, you and all of Edom. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

You were happy when the land of Israel became empty. So I will treat you in the same way. Mount Seir, you will be empty. So will the whole land of Edom. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

你兄弟遭遇祸患的日子，你不该看着不理；犹大人被灭的日子，你不该幸灾乐祸；他们遭难的日子，你不该张口狂傲；

耶和华的日子临近万国了，人必照你所行的向你施行，你的报应必归到你的头上。

耶和华啊！求你记念以东人在耶路撒冷遭难的日子所行的，他们说：“拆毁它，拆毁它，直拆到根基。”

还有许多人听见他所作的一切事，就从犹太、耶路撒冷、以土迈、约旦河外和推罗、西顿一带地方来到他跟前。

我必使你永远荒凉，你的城市必没有人居住；你们就知道我是耶和华。

“抢夺我产业的啊！你们虽然欢喜快乐，像踹谷的母牛犊跳跃，像雄壮的马嘶叫；

主耶和华这样说：因为仇敌攻击你们说：哈哈！那悠久的山冈都归给我们为业了。所以你要说预言：主耶和华这样说：因为敌人使你们荒凉，四围践踏你们，好使你们归给列国中余剩的人为业，成为人们提说和嘲笑的对象，因此，以色列的众山啊！你们要听主耶和华的话；主耶和华对大山、小冈、溪涧、山谷、荒凉的废墟，被弃的城，就是曾被四围列国中余剩的人所劫掠、所讥笑的，这样说：主耶和华这样说：我在妒火中说话攻击列国中余剩的人和以东众人，因为他们全心欢喜，满怀恨恶，把我的地归给自己为业，好占有它为掠物。

嘲笑穷人的就是辱骂造他的主；幸灾乐祸的必难免受惩罚。

我必降火在玛各和安居在沿海地带的人身上，他们就知道我是耶和华。“‘我要在我子民以色列中彰显我的圣名，我必不再让我的圣名被亵渎；这样，列国就知道我是耶和华，是以色列中的圣者。
