“因为你曾说‘这二国、这二邦必归我，我们必得为业’，其实耶和华仍在那里；

“因为你曾说‘这二国、这二邦必归我，我们必得为业’，其实耶和华仍在那里；

“‘因为你曾说，犹大和以色列必归我，即使上帝在那里，我们也要吞并他们。

“‘因为你曾说：这两国这两邦都必归我，我必得它们为业，但其实耶和华还是在那里。

「因為你曾說：『這二國這二邦必歸於我，我必得為業』（其實耶和華仍在那裏），

爾曰、此二國二族、必歸於我、為我所有、第耶和華在彼、

爾當言以色列猶大必歸於我、我得其土、不知彼二國者、為我耶和華所眷祐、

爾曾言、斯二邦二國必歸我、雖有主在彼、我終必得以為業、雖有主在彼我終必得以為業或作必歸於我我必獲之為業不知主仍在彼

“‘ Because you have said,“ These two nations and countries will be ours and we will take possession of them,” even though I the Lord was there,

“‘ “You said,‘ The nations of Israel and Judah will belong to us. We will take them over.’ You said that, even though I was there. I am the Lord.

故此主永恆主這麼說：我實在妒火中燒、嚴詞責備其餘外國人和全以東，因為他們滿心歡喜、滿懷輕蔑地將我的地給予自己為基業，好擁有它為掠物；

城四圍共一萬八千肘。城的名字、從那天起、必稱為：「永恆主在那裏」。

在我們的上帝的城中永恆主至大，當受極大的頌讚。他的聖山，美麗高聳，為全地所喜悅；大君王的城錫安山在北邊。在城裏的宮堡中上帝使自己顯為高壘。

永恆主發神諭說：我對耶路撒冷必作為一道四圍的火牆，並作城中間的榮光。」』

當我人民遭遇患難的日子，你不應該進他的門呀；當他遭遇患難的日子，你也不應該瞪着眼看他受苦呀；當他遭遇患難的日子，你不應該伸手搶他的財物呀。

錫安的居民哪，發尖銳聲，又歡唱哦！因為以色列之聖者在你們中間乃是至大。』

他們說：『來吧，我們將他們抹除，使他們不再成國；使以色列的名不再被記得。』他們同心商議，彼此結盟、要抵擋你：就是以東和摩押的帳棚、以實瑪利人和夏甲人、亞捫的地界和亞瑪力、非利士同推羅的居民；撒瑪利亞也跟他們聯合，做了羅得子孫的臂助。（細拉）求你待他們如西西拉、如耶賓、在基順的急流河；讓他們像米甸人在哈律泉旁被消滅，成了田間的糞土。求你使他們的貴族像俄立和西伊伯，使他們的公侯都像西巴和撒慕拿；就是說：『我們來取得上帝的居所以為業』的。

主永恆主這麼說：因為仇敵譏刺你們說：「啊哈！」「這古老的荒丘都給我們擁有為基業了」，

永恆主已除掉那些判罰你、的案底，已掃除你的仇敵。永恆主在你中間、作以色列的王，你必不再懼怕災禍。

因為永恆主揀選了錫安，願意它做自己的幕所：他說：『這是我永永遠遠的安居所；我要在這裏坐着為王，因為我中意它。

他的磐石必因恐怖而挪去，他的軍官必因驚慌而跑離旗位』：這是永恆主發神諭說的：他就是那有燄火在錫安、有火爐在耶路撒冷的。

在猶大上帝將自己使人認識；在以色列他的名實為至大。

論亞捫人。永恆主這麼說：『以色列沒有兒子麼？或是沒有後嗣麼？為甚麼米勒公竟佔取了迦得之地以為業，而他的人民又住在迦得的城市呢？
