Hear the word of Jehovah, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.How long will ye judge unjustly, And respect the persons of the wicked?[ SelahJudge the poor and fatherless: Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.Rescue the poor and needy: Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.They know not, neither do they understand; They walk to and fro in darkness: All the foundations of the earth are shaken.I said, Ye are gods, And all of you sons of the Most High.Nevertheless ye shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.

Say thou unto the king and to the queen- mother, Humble yourselves, sit down; for your headtires are come down, even the crown of your glory.

And the Lord said unto him, Now ye the Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.Ye foolish ones, did not he that made the outside make the inside also?But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, all things are clean unto you.But woe unto you Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and every herb, and pass over justice and the love of God: but these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.Woe unto you Pharisees! for ye love the chief seats in the synagogues, and the salutations in the marketplaces.Woe unto you! for ye are as the tombs which appear not, and the men that walk over them know it not.And one of the lawyers answering saith unto him, Teacher, in saying this thou reproachest us also.And he said, Woe unto you lawyers also! for ye load men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.Woe unto you! for ye build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.So ye are witnesses and consent unto the works of your fathers: for they killed them, and ye build their tombs.Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send unto them prophets and apostles; and some of them they shall kill and persecute;that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;from the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary: yea, I say unto you, it shall be required of this generation.Woe unto you lawyers! for ye took away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.And when he was come out from thence, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press upon him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things;laying wait for him, to catch something out of his mouth.

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye enter not in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering in to enter.

and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates.Thus saith Jehovah: Execute ye justice and righteousness, and deliver him that is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence, to the sojourner, the fatherless, nor the widow; neither shed innocent blood in this place.

But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Jehovah, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, that abhor justice, and pervert all equity.
