You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.

You have not made the weak ones in the flock stronger. You have not healed the sick. You have not bandaged those who are hurt. You have not brought back those who have wandered away. You have not searched for the lost. When you ruled over them, you were mean to them. You treated them badly.

The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the injured you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness you have ruled them.

You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty.

You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost. Instead, you have ruled them with violence and cruelty.

Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you searched for the lost; but with force and with violence you have dominated them.

The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them.

The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought back that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor have ye ruled over them.

失喪的我必尋找，被放逐的我必領回，受折傷的我必綁紮，有病的我必使他強壯；肥的壯的我必保守；我必按正義加以牧養。

永恆主又吩咐我說：『你再取愚妄牧民者的器具。因為你看，我在這地興起一個牧民者：被抹毁的、他不看顧，流蕩的、他不尋找，受折傷的、他不醫治，能自立的、他不供養，而肥壯者的肉、他反而喫掉，甚至牠們的蹄子、他也撕裂！

埃及人嚴嚴地使以色列人作工：用很難作的苦工：像和灰泥、作磚，作田間各樣的工：就是埃及人嚴嚴叫他們去作的各樣苦工，使他們的生活逕是苦味。

你們以為怎樣？一個人若有一百隻羊，其中有一隻走迷了路，難道他不撇下這九十九隻在山上，去找那隻迷路的麼？若是找着了，我實在告訴你們，他為了這一隻來歡喜，比為了那九十九隻沒有迷路的，歡喜還要大呢。

他看見那些羣眾，就憐憫他們，因為他們煩勞沮喪，如同羊沒有牧人一般。

寧可去找以色列家失掉的羊。

她的額上寫着名字、有象徵的奧祕：「大巴比倫、地上淫婦之母、可憎之物之母！」我看見那婦人沉醉於聖徒的血，沉醉於為耶穌捨生作證者的血。我看見了她，就大大驚奇。

他的守望人是瞎眼的，都沒有知識；他們都是啞巴狗，不能叫喚；只是躺臥着，瞇瞇地睡，貪愛打盹。

『你們中間甚麼人有一百隻羊，失掉其中的一隻，不把這九十九隻撇在野地，去找那失掉的，直到找着呢？找着了，就擱在肩膀上，直歡喜。來到家裏，就招集朋友和同鄉，對他們說：「和我一同歡喜吧，因為我那失掉的羊、我已經找着了。

來，如今請注意！富足的人哪，應當因你們的慘難、那將要臨到的慘難、來哭泣號咷。你們的財富朽壞了；你們的衣裳給蟲子蛀了；你們的金銀長鏽了；它們的鏽必作證定你們的罪，必像火一樣喫你們的肉。在末後的日子，你們還積藏了財寶！看哪、那些割你們田地的工人、他們被你們詐欠的工錢正喊叫呢；那些收割之人的哀呼聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在地上宴樂奢侈；當屠宰的日子還養肥了自己！你們定了義人的罪，把他殺了；他不敵擋你們！

園工卻拿住了他的奴僕，打了一個，殺了一個，扔石頭打死了一個。

在基列難道沒有止痛乳香？那裏難道沒有醫生麼？我子民的新肉為甚麼總不長呢？

就動手擊打同做奴僕的，又和醉酒的人一同喫喝，

『那憑不義而建造自己的房屋，憑不公而建築自己的房頂屋，白白使用人的工，而不給工資的、有禍啊！

你們要牧養那在你們中間的上帝羊羣，不是勉勉強強地，乃是照上帝旨意甘心樂意地；也不是貪可恥之利地，乃是有熱心地；又不是擅權轄制所託付你們的，乃是顯為羊羣榜樣的。

這不是說我們做主來轄管你們的信仰，乃是說我們為了你們的喜樂而合作同工；因為你們在信仰上已經站穩了。

所以你們要把衰弱下垂的手舉起來，把癱瘓發抖的膝蓋伸直；

因了得權柄而在獸面前能行神迹、牠就迷惑住在地上的人，告訴住在地上的人要為那受刀擊傷還活着的獸造像。牠得了權柄、可以將生氣給獸的像，叫獸的像不但能說話，也能叫所有不拜獸像的人都被殺害。牠叫眾人、小的大的、富的窮的、自主的為奴的，都要給自己弄個印記、或在右手上、或在額上；叫人、除非有印記、有獸的名或獸名的數目的印記、就不能買，也不能賣。
