The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up[ that which was] broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.

You have not made the weak ones in the flock stronger. You have not healed the sick. You have not bandaged those who are hurt. You have not brought back those who have wandered away. You have not searched for the lost. When you ruled over them, you were mean to them. You treated them badly.

The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the injured you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness you have ruled them.

You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty.

You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost. Instead, you have ruled them with violence and cruelty.

Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you searched for the lost; but with force and with violence you have dominated them.

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land,[ which] shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.

And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve,[ was] with rigour.

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that[ sheep], than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And upon her forehead[ was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

His watchmen[ are] blind: they are all ignorant, they[ are] all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?And when he hath found[ it], he layeth[ it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.And when he cometh home, he calleth together[ his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

Go to now,[ ye] rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon[ you].Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.Ye have condemned[ and] killed the just;[ and] he doth not resist you.

And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

[ Is there] no balm in Gilead;[ is there] no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

And shall begin to smite[ his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong;[ that] useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight[ thereof], not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;Neither as being lords over[ God’s] heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by[ the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
