“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have been feeding themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed their flock?

“人子啊！你要说预言攻击以色列众牧者；你要对他们说预言：‘主耶和华这样说：以色列众牧者有祸了！他们只顾牧养自己。牧者岂不应当牧养羊群吗？

「人子啊，你要向以色列的牧人發預言，攻擊他們，說，主耶和華如此說：禍哉！以色列的牧人只知牧養自己。牧人豈不當牧養羣羊嗎？

“人子啊！你要說預言攻擊以色列眾牧者；你要對他們說預言：‘主耶和華這樣說：以色列眾牧者有禍了！他們只顧牧養自己。牧者豈不應當牧養羊群嗎？

『人子啊，你要傳神言攻擊以色列的牧民者，要傳神言對牧民者說：主永恆主這麼說：有禍啊，以色列的牧民者，只知牧養自己的！牧人豈不應當牧養羣羊麼？

人子歟、當以預言責以色列之牧者曰、主耶和華云、以色列之牧者、自牧其身、其人禍哉、牧者豈不宜牧其羣羊乎、

人子、當傳我命、責以色列族之牧者曰、主耶和華云、以色列族之牧者、自顧其身、不牧群羊、禍必不遠矣。

人子、爾向向或作指以色列之牧者述預言、述預言告彼牧者曰、主天主如是云、以色列之牧者、惟知牧養己身、禍必臨之、牧者豈不當牧羊乎、

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ How terrible it will be for you shepherds of Israel! You only take care of yourselves. You should take good care of your flocks.

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Ah, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should the shepherds not feed the flock?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds:“ Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, even to the shepherds, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the sheep?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and say to them: This is what the Lord God says to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have been feeding themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed their flock?

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe[ be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them– to the shepherds:‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not shepherds feed the flock?

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and tell them, even the shepherds,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?

“ Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” This is the LORD’s declaration.

I will give you shepherds who are loyal to me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

He protects his flock like a shepherd; he gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them in the fold of his garment. He gently leads those that are nursing.

As I live— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— because my flock, lacking a shepherd, has become prey and food for every wild animal, and because my shepherds do not search for my flock, and because the shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD!“‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: Look, I am against the shepherds. I will demand my flock from them and prevent them from shepherding the flock. The shepherds will no longer feed themselves, for I will rescue my flock from their mouths so that they will not be food for them.

“ Beware of the scribes, who want to go around in long robes and who love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the places of honor at banquets.They devour widows’ houses and say long prayers just for show. These will receive harsher judgment.”

They will exploit you in their greed with made-up stories. Their condemnation, pronounced long ago, is not idle, and their destruction does not sleep.

he brought him from tending ewes to be shepherd over his people Jacob— over Israel, his inheritance.He shepherded them with a pure heart and guided them with his skillful hands.

For the shepherds are stupid: They don’t seek the LORD. Therefore they have not prospered, and their whole flock is scattered.

Woe to the worthless shepherd who deserts the flock! May a sword strike his arm and his right eye! May his arm wither away and his right eye go completely blind!”

You profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread; you put those to death who should not die and spare those who should not live, when you lie to my people, who listen to lies.

because such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites. They deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting with smooth talk and flattering words.

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Feed my lambs,” he told him.A second time he asked him,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Shepherd my sheep,” he told him.He asked him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved that he asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.”“ Feed my sheep,” Jesus said.

I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard; they have trampled my plot of land. They have turned my desirable plot into a desolate wasteland.

Therefore I declare to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you,

Shepherd God’s flock among you, not overseeing out of compulsion but willingly, as God would have you; not out of greed for money but eagerly;not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

The priests quit asking,“ Where is the LORD?” The experts in the law no longer knew me, and the rulers rebelled against me. The prophets prophesied by Baal and followed useless idols.

“ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.The hired hand, since he is not the shepherd and doesn’t own the sheep, leaves them and runs away when he sees a wolf coming. The wolf then snatches and scatters them.

Her leaders issue rulings for a bribe, her priests teach for payment, and her prophets practice divination for silver. Yet they lean on the LORD, saying,“ Isn’t the LORD among us? No disaster will overtake us.”Therefore, because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become ruins, and the temple’s mountain will be a high thicket.

“ Truly I tell you, anyone who doesn’t enter the sheep pen by the gate but climbs in some other way is a thief and a robber.The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.

The princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are wolves of the night, which leave nothing for the morning.Her prophets are reckless— treacherous men. Her priests profane the sanctuary; they do violence to instruction.

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time?Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing his job when he comes.Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.But if that servant says in his heart,‘ My master is delaying his coming,’ and starts to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unfaithful.

“ Son of man, those who live in the ruins in the land of Israel are saying,‘ Abraham was only one person, yet he received possession of the land. But we are many; surely the land has been given to us as a possession.’

But if that wicked servant says in his heart,‘ My master is delayed,’and starts to beat his fellow servants, and eats and drinks with drunkards,that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know.He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Then I said,“ Now listen, leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Aren’t you supposed to know what is just?You hate good and love evil. You tear off people’s skin and strip their flesh from their bones.You eat the flesh of my people after you strip their skin from them and break their bones. You chop them up like flesh for the cooking pot, like meat in a cauldron.”

Even while Saul was king over us, you were the one who led us out to battle and brought us back. The LORD also said to you,‘ You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will be ruler over Israel.’”
