是日我將震怒、人民遭難、荒蕪傾圯、幽深玄遠、杳冥晦暗、

爾中誰畏耶和華、而聽其臣之命者、若行暗地、不得光明、必以上帝耶和華是恃。

爾之上帝耶和華、宜虔共寅畏、否則使爾幽暗、顛躓於晦冥之岡、爾所望之光、變為陰翳昏黑。

我耶和華之日、其象若何、幽暗無光、爾曹欲其速至、禍不遠矣。譬諸人避獅而遇熊、入室附壁、為蛇所嚙、耶和華之日、豈能陰翳、絕少光明、幽深玄遠、毫不明徹、

我將示奇事於天、異兆於地、若血若火若烟、日變晦冥、月為血色、而主赫顯之日將至矣、凡籲主名者、必得救也、

耶和華之日伊邇、在彼郇邑、為我聖山吹角甚厲、使民震動、是日晦冥、幽深玄遠、異族將至、既強且眾、有若黎明、豁然開朗、自古迄今、至於後世、未有若是之甚、其所至者前後若火、炎炎不已、未來之前、斯土與埃田相埒、既去之後、邦國變為曠野、得免於難者、卒無一人、

大闢曰、昔僕為父牧羊、有獅與熊至羊群、攫取羔羊。我追而擊之、援羔於其口、彼欲害我、我執其鬣、擊而殺之。
