我對惡人說：『惡人哪，你必要死！』你若不開口警戒惡人，使他離開所行的道，這惡人必因自己的罪孽而死，我卻要從你手裏討他的血債。

我对恶人说：‘恶人哪，你必要死！’你以西结若不开口警戒恶人，使他离开所行的道，这恶人必死在罪孽之中，我却要向你讨他丧命的罪。

我若指着惡人說：「你必定死」，你若不告訴惡人而警告他離開他的行徑，那麼這惡人就必死在他的罪孽中，而流他血的罪呢、我卻要從你手裏追討。

我語惡人曰、惡者乎、爾必死、如爾不警之、使離其道、惡人必死於其罪、而我必索其血於爾、

我謂惡人必死、以告乎爾、如爾不示之、使彼悛改、則惡人將死於罪、而爾不能免於刑罰、

我言惡人必死、如爾不言以警惡人、使改悔其行、則惡人必死於罪、而其喪命之罪、我必責問於爾、而其喪命之罪我必責問於爾原文作而其血必討於爾手

When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Suppose I say to a sinful person,‘ You can be sure that you will die.’ And suppose you do not try to get them to change their ways. Then they will die because they have sinned. And I will hold you responsible for their death.

If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.

If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked about his way, that wicked person shall die for his wrongdoing, but I will require his blood from your hand.

When I say to the wicked,‘ O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die, and thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way; that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thy hand.

所以我今日向你們作證，你們中間無論何人死亡，罪不在我。因為神一切的旨意，我並沒有退縮不傳給你們的。

我對惡人說：『你必死亡！』他若轉離他的罪惡，行公平公義的事；

看哪，所有的生命都是屬我的；父親的生命怎樣屬我，兒子的生命也照樣屬我；然而犯罪的，他必定死。

倘若守望者見刀劍臨到，卻不吹角，以致百姓未受警戒，刀劍來殺了他們中間的一個人，這人雖然因自己的罪孽而死，我卻要從守望者的手裏討他的血債。

至於他父親，因為施行欺壓，搶奪弟兄，在百姓中行不善，看哪，他必因自己的罪孽死亡。

惡人有禍了！他必遭災難！因為他要按自己手所做的受報應。

惟有犯罪的，卻必死亡。兒子不擔當父親的罪孽，父親也不擔當兒子的罪孽。義人的善果要歸自己，惡人的惡報也要歸自己。

「我們的父親死在曠野。他沒有與可拉同夥聚集攻擊耶和華，是在自己的罪中死的；他沒有兒子。

我就說：「唉！主耶和華，看哪，那些先知常對他們說：『你們必不見刀劍，也不遭饑荒；耶和華要在這地方賞賜你們真正的平安。』」耶和華對我說：「那些先知託我的名說假預言，我並未差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話；他們向你們預言的是虛假的異象、占卜、虛無，以及心中的詭詐。所以耶和華如此說：『論到託我名說預言的那些先知，我並未差遣他們；他們說這地不會有刀劍、饑荒，其實那些先知自己必被刀劍、饑荒滅絕。聽他們說預言的百姓必因饑荒、刀劍被扔在耶路撒冷的街道上，無人埋葬。他們連妻子帶兒女，都是如此。我必將他們的惡倒在他們身上。』」

他們輕忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說：『平安了！平安了！』其實沒有平安。他們行可憎之事，應當羞愧；然而他們卻一點也不覺得羞愧，又不知羞恥。因此，他們必與仆倒的人一樣仆倒；我懲罰他們的時候，他們必跌倒。這是耶和華說的。我必使他們全然滅絕；葡萄樹上必沒有葡萄，無花果樹上沒有果子，葉子也必枯乾。我所賜給他們的，必離他們而去。這是耶和華說的。」

只是知善惡的樹所出的，你不可吃，因為你吃它的日子必定死！」

蛇對女人說：「你們不一定死；

惡人卻不得福樂，他的日子好像影兒不得長久，因為他不敬畏神。

我的手必攻擊那見虛假異象、用謊詐占卜的先知，他們必不列在我百姓的會中，不錄在以色列家的名冊上，也不能進入以色列地；你們就知道我是主耶和華。他們誘惑我的百姓，說：『平安！』其實沒有平安，就像有人築牆壁，看哪，他們倒去粉刷它。

「他若生了兒子，兒子作強盜，流人的血，作父親的雖然未犯此過，兒子卻對弟兄行了以上所說的惡，在山上吃祭物，污辱鄰舍的妻；

擊掌保證，惡人難免受罰；義人的後裔必得拯救。
