如果我說惡人必定要死，你卻不警告他離開罪惡的行徑，他必因自己的罪而死，我卻要向你追討他喪命的血債。

我对恶人说：‘恶人哪，你必要死！’你以西结若不开口警戒恶人，使他离开所行的道，这恶人必死在罪孽之中，我却要向你讨他丧命的罪。

我对恶人说：‘恶人哪，你必要死！’你若不开口警戒恶人，使他离开所行的道，这恶人必因自己的罪孽而死，我却要从你手里讨他的血债。

我語惡人曰、惡者乎、爾必死、如爾不警之、使離其道、惡人必死於其罪、而我必索其血於爾、

我謂惡人必死、以告乎爾、如爾不示之、使彼悛改、則惡人將死於罪、而爾不能免於刑罰、

我言惡人必死、如爾不言以警惡人、使改悔其行、則惡人必死於罪、而其喪命之罪、我必責問於爾、而其喪命之罪我必責問於爾原文作而其血必討於爾手

When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Suppose I say to a sinful person,‘ You can be sure that you will die.’ And suppose you do not try to get them to change their ways. Then they will die because they have sinned. And I will hold you responsible for their death.

If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.

If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

所以今天我向你們聲明，將來你們有誰滅亡，與我無關。因為上帝的整個計劃，我沒有向你們避而不宣。

我雖對惡人說他必定要死，但他若改邪歸正，行事公正仁義，

因為所有的生命都屬於我，父和子都屬於我。誰犯罪，誰死亡。

但如果守望者看見敵人來攻打而不吹號警告百姓，以致有人被敵人殺了，那人固然是因自己的罪惡而被殺，我卻要向這守望者追討那人被殺的血債。』

他父親因肆意欺詐，掠奪同胞，多行不義，必自招滅亡。

惡人有禍了！他們必大禍臨頭，受到報應。

誰犯罪，誰死亡，兒子不用承擔父親的罪惡，父親也不用承擔兒子的罪惡。義人必有善報，惡人必有惡報。

「我們的父親死在曠野，他並沒有跟可拉一夥一起反叛耶和華，而是因自己的罪而死，沒有留下兒子。

我說：「主耶和華啊！眾先知不停地告訴他們不會有戰爭，也不會遭遇饑荒，說耶和華必在這地方賜給他們永久的平安。」耶和華對我說：「那些先知奉我的名說假預言，我並沒有差派他們，沒有委任他們，也沒有對他們說話。他們對你們說的預言是假異象，是占卜，是憑空捏造。我沒有差派他們，他們卻奉我的名說這地方必沒有戰爭和饑荒。他們必死於戰爭和饑荒。這是耶和華說的。至於聽他們說預言的人以及那些人的妻子兒女，必因饑荒和戰爭而曝屍耶路撒冷街頭。因為我要使他們受到應得的報應。

他們敷衍了事地醫治我子民的傷痛，說，『沒事了，沒事了！』其實情況很糟。他們做可憎的事會羞愧嗎？不！他們不知廉恥，毫不臉紅。因此，他們要與其他人一樣滅亡，死在我的懲罰下。這是耶和華說的。我要徹底滅絕他們。葡萄樹必沒有葡萄，無花果樹必沒有果子，樹葉也要枯乾，我所賜給他們的都要被奪走。這是耶和華說的。」

只是不可吃那棵分別善惡樹的果子，因為你若吃了，當天必死。」

蛇對女人說：「你們一定不會死！

然而，惡人得不到祝福，他們必像幻影一樣不能長久，因為他們不敬畏上帝。

我必動手攻擊那些見假異象、說假預言的先知。他們必從我的子民當中被剔除，不被收錄在以色列人的名冊上，也不能進入以色列的土地。這樣，你們就知道我是主耶和華。因為他們欺騙我的子民說，『平安！』其實並沒有平安，就像有人築了一道薄牆，用白灰加以粉飾。

「倘若這人生了一個不肖子，兇殘暴戾，殺人搶劫，無惡不作，常在廟宇吃祭偶像之物，玷污別人的妻子，欺壓貧窮困苦的人，搶奪財物，扣留債戶的抵押品，祭拜偶像，犯罪作惡，放債取利，這樣的人還能活著嗎？他必不能活。他作惡多端，必自取滅亡，抵償自己的血債。

惡人終必落入法網，義人的子孫必得拯救。
