“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must warn them on my behalf.

“人子啊，现在我立你为以色列人的守望者，你要听我的信息，代我警告他们。

“人子啊！我立了你作以色列家守望的人，所以你要聆听我口中的话，替我警告他们。

「人子啊，我照樣立你作以色列家的守望者；你要聽我口中的話，替我警戒他們。

「人子啊，現在我立你為以色列人的守望者，你要聽我的信息，代我警告他們。

“人子啊！我立了你作以色列家守望的人，所以你要聆聽我口中的話，替我警告他們。

『所以你，人子啊，我立了你做以色列家的守望者；你若從我口中聽到話語，總要替我警告他們。

人子歟、我立爾為以色列家之戍卒、其聽我口所言、為我警之、

人子、我使爾為戍卒、稽察以色列家、必聽我命、代我示民、

惟爾人子歟、我為以色列人立爾為守望者、爾由我口聽言、代我示之以警戒、

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

“ Son of man, I have appointed you as a prophet to warn the people of Israel. So listen to my message. Give them a warning from me.

“ So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me.

“ Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me.

“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, give them a warning from me.

“ Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them a warning from Me.

“ So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.

So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

“ So you, son of man: I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word from my mouth, and give them warnings from me.

The LORD said,“ Go stand in the courtyard of the LORD’s temple. Speak out to all the people who are coming from the towns of Judah to worship in the LORD’s temple. Tell them everything I command you to tell them. Do not leave out a single word!

“ Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you must give them a warning from me.When I say to the wicked,“ You will certainly die,” and you do not warn him– you do not speak out to warn the wicked to turn from his wicked deed and wicked lifestyle so that he may live– that wicked person will die for his iniquity, but I will hold you accountable for his death.But as for you, if you warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wicked deed and from his wicked lifestyle, he will die for his iniquity but you will have saved your own life.“ When a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I set an obstacle before him, he will die. If you have not warned him, he will die for his sin. The righteous deeds he performed will not be considered, but I will hold you accountable for his death.However, if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he will certainly live because he was warned, and you will have saved your own life.”

“ Go and stand in the temple courts and proclaim to the people all the words of this life.”

You must speak my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.As for you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you: Do not rebel like that rebellious house! Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls and will give an account for their work. Let them do this with joy and not with complaints, for this would be no advantage for you.

“ But you, Jeremiah, get yourself ready! Go and tell these people everything I instruct you to say. Do not be terrified of them, or I will give you good reason to be terrified of them.

I post watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they should keep praying all day and all night. You who pray to the LORD, don’t be silent!

Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and please God( as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more.For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread,

The night watchmen found me– the ones who guard the city walls.“ Have you seen my beloved?”

The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city. They beat me, they bruised me; they took away my cloak, those watchmen on the walls!

We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ.Toward this goal I also labor, struggling according to his power that powerfully works in me.

The king said to him,“ How many times must I make you solemnly promise in the name of the LORD to tell me only the truth?”Micaiah said,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains like sheep that have no shepherd. Then the LORD said,‘ They have no master. They should go home in peace.’”The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ Didn’t I tell you he does not prophesy prosperity for me, but disaster?”Micaiah said,“ That being the case, hear the word of the LORD. I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, with all the heavenly assembly standing on his right and on his left.The LORD said,‘ Who will deceive Ahab, so he will attack Ramoth Gilead and die there?’ One said this and another that.Then a spirit stepped forward and stood before the LORD. He said,‘ I will deceive him.’ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’So now, look, the LORD has placed a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; but the LORD has decreed disaster for you.”Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said,“ Which way did the LORD’s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?”Micaiah replied,“ Look, you will see in the day when you go into an inner room to hide.”Then the king of Israel said,“ Take Micaiah and return him to Amon the city official and Joash the king’s son.Say,‘ This is what the king says,“ Put this man in prison. Give him only a little bread and water until I safely return.”’”Micaiah said,“ If you really do safely return, then the LORD has not spoken through me.” Then he added,“ Take note, all you people.”

Therefore I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of you all.For I did not hold back from announcing to you the whole purpose of God.

The best of them is like a thorn; the most godly among them are more dangerous than a row of thorn bushes. The day you try to avoid by posting watchmen– your appointed time of punishment– is on the way, and then you will experience confusion.

The LORD said to me,“ I have made you like a metal assayer to test my people like ore. You are to observe them and evaluate how they behave.”

Yes, a time is coming when watchmen will call out on the mountains of Ephraim,“ Come! Let us go to Zion to worship the LORD our God!”’”

Let the prophet who has had a dream go ahead and tell his dream. Let the person who has received my message report that message faithfully. What is like straw cannot compare to what is like grain! I, the LORD, affirm it!

Whenever your countrymen who live in the cities bring a case before you( whether it involves a violent crime or other matters related to the law, commandments, rules, and regulations), warn them that they must not sin against the LORD. If you fail to do so, God will be angry with you and your colleagues; but if you obey, you will be free of guilt.

For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received– that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,

You know that I did not hold back from proclaiming to you anything that would be helpful, and from teaching you publicly and from house to house,

But Micaiah said,“ As certainly as the LORD lives, I will say what the LORD tells me to say.”

It was he who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,
