then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.

then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head.

Someone hears the trumpet. But they do not pay any attention to the warning. The enemies come and kill them. Then what happens to them will be their own fault.

Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die.

If he has exacted usury Or taken increase— Shall he then live? He shall not live! If he has done any of these abominations, He shall surely die; His blood shall be upon him.

So it was, as he talked with him, that the king said to him,“ Have we made you the king’s counselor? Cease! Why should you be killed?” Then the prophet ceased, and said,“ I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not heeded my advice.”

Also, I set watchmen over you, saying,‘ Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said,‘ We will not listen.’

But when they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook his garments and said to them,“ Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

“ The Lord has been very angry with your fathers.Therefore say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts,“ and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.“ Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.”’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord.

He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.

For you were hypocrites in your hearts when you sent me to the Lord your God, saying,‘ Pray for us to the Lord our God, and according to all that the Lord your God says, so declare to us and we will do it.’And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God, or anything which He has sent you by me.Now therefore, know certainly that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to dwell.”

For it shall be, on the day you go out and cross the Brook Kidron, know for certain you shall surely die; your blood shall be on your own head.”

‘ For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon him.

The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood shall be upon them.If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.If a man marries a woman and her mother, it is wickedness. They shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.If a man mates with an animal, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal.If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood is upon them.‘ If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a wicked thing. And they shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He shall bear his guilt.If a man lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has exposed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from their people.‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister nor of your father’s sister, for that would uncover his near of kin. They shall bear their guilt.If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be childless.‘ You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them.But I have said to you,“ You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the Lord your God, who has separated you from the peoples.You shall therefore distinguish between clean animals and unclean, between unclean birds and clean, and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or by any kind of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.‘ A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’”

He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, Will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

So David said to him,“ Your blood is on your own head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”
