In the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth month on the fifth day, a man who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me and said,“ The city has fallen!”

It was the 12th year since we had been brought to Babylon as prisoners. On the fifth day of the tenth month, a man who had escaped from Jerusalem came to bring me a report. He said,“ The city has fallen!”

In the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, a fugitive from Jerusalem came to me and said,“ The city has been struck down.”

On January 8, during the twelfth year of our captivity, a survivor from Jerusalem came to me and said,“ The city has fallen!”

In the twelfth year of our exile, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, a fugitive from Jerusalem came to me and reported,“ The city has been taken!”

Now in the twelfth year of our exile, on the fifth of the tenth month, the survivor from Jerusalem came to me, saying,“ The city has been taken.”

And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one who had escaped from Jerusalem came to me and said,“ The city has been captured!”

亦因其流無辜之血、徧於耶路撒冷、此罪主決不赦免、約雅敬其餘之事、凡其所行、俱載於猶大列王記、約雅敬與列祖同寢、子約雅斤繼之為王、伊及王不敢再離其國而出徵、因自伊及河至伯拉河、伊及王所得之地、巴比倫王俱取之、○

使迦勒底王來攻之、在聖殿中、以刃戮諸壯士、不恤幼男少女、老人白叟、主俱付於其手、天主殿中大小器皿及寶物、並王與諸牧伯之寶物、悉攜至巴比倫、迦勒底人焚天主之殿宇、拆耶路撒冷之城垣、燬其中宮殿、壞其中珍器、凡幸免殺戮者、皆擄至巴比倫、使為巴比倫王及其子孫之奴婢、直至巴西國興、於是土地荒蕪休息、若享安息年、歷七十年、應耶利米所傳主之言、

當是日必有脫逃之人、至於爾以西結前、使爾耳聞斯事、於是日爾必向脫逃者啟口、與之言、不復緘默、如是、爾必為其先兆、彼則知我乃主、

我儕被擄後第二十五年、耶路撒冷城陷後十四年、年之初、月月即正月之十日、當是日主之神感我、攜至以色列地、

猶大王西底家九年十月、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率其全軍至耶路撒冷、圍困之、西底家十一年四月九日、城破、巴比倫王之侯伯、尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、宦官長撒西金、博士長尼甲沙利薛、及巴比倫王其餘一切侯伯咸至、坐於中門、猶大王西底家與諸戰士見之、夜間逃遁、由王園之道、由兩城中之門出城、望平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍旅追之、在耶利歌平原追及西底家、執之、解至哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前、遂審鞫之、巴比倫王在利比拉、屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、亦屠戮猶大之諸顯者、抉西底家之兩目、繫以銅索、欲攜至巴比倫、迦勒底人、以火焚王宮及民室、毀耶路撒冷城垣、

於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、

西底家九年、十月十日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率其軍旅至耶路撒冷、在城之四圍、建營築壘以攻之、城被圍困、至西底家王十一年、四月九日、城中之民絕糧、饑甚、於是城破、迦勒底人在城四圍、王與諸戰士由近王園兩城中之門、夜間出城而遁、望平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍追王、在耶利歌之平原及之、王之眾軍、離之四散、迦勒底人執王、解至哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王前、遂審鞫之、巴比倫王屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、又在利比拉屠戮猶大諸牧伯、抉西底家之兩目、繫以銅索、攜至巴比倫、囚之於獄、至於死日、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月十日、十日列王下第二十五章八節作七日服事巴比倫王之侍衛長尼布撒拉旦、至耶路撒冷、以火焚主殿與王宮、及耶路撒冷之一切屋宇、並諸大宅、諸大宅或作諸顯者之室從侍衛長之迦勒底軍、毀耶路撒冷四周之城垣、
