惡人若歸還抵押品，歸回所搶奪的東西，遵行生命的律例，不再作惡；他必存活，不致死亡。

if they give back what they took in pledge for a loan, return what they have stolen, follow the decrees that give life, and do no evil— that person will surely live; they will not die.

They return things they take to make sure loans are repaid. They give back what they have stolen. They obey my rules that give life. They do not do what is evil. Then you can be sure they will live. They will not die.

if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

For instance, they might give back a debtor’s security, return what they have stolen, and obey my life giving laws, no longer doing what is evil. If they do this, then they will surely live and not die.

我將我的律例賜給他們，將我的典章指示他們；人若遵行就必因此存活。

撒該站着對主說：「主啊，我把所有的一半給窮人；我若勒索了誰，就還他四倍。」

「人若偷牛或羊，無論是宰了或賣了，他就要以五牛賠一牛，四羊賠一羊。賊挖洞，若被發現而被打死，打的人沒有流血的罪。若太陽已經出來，打的人就有流血的罪。賊總要賠償，若他一無所有，就要被賣來還他所偷的東西。若發現他所偷的，無論是牛、驢，或羊，在他手中還活着，他就要加倍賠償。

「若有人犯罪，得罪了耶和華，就是在鄰舍寄託他的東西或抵押品上行詭詐，或搶奪，或欺壓鄰舍，或是撿了失物行了詭詐，起了假誓，在人所做的任何事上犯了罪；他既犯了罪，有了過犯，就要歸還他所搶奪的，或是因欺壓所得的，或是別人寄託他的，或是他所撿到的失物，或是起假誓得來的任何東西，就要全數歸還，另外再加五分之一。在查出他有罪的日子，就要立刻賠還給原主。

未曾虧負人，而是將欠債之人的抵押品還給他；未曾搶奪人的物件，卻把食物給飢餓的人吃，把衣服給赤身的人穿；

你們要謹守我的律例典章；遵行的人就必因此得生。我是耶和華。

他們兩人在神面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命和條例，沒有可指責的。

以色列家卻在曠野中悖逆我，不順從我的律例，厭棄我的典章；人若遵行就必因此存活。他們卻大大干犯我的安息日。「因此我說，我要在曠野把我的憤怒傾倒在他們身上，滅絕他們。

「不可對寄居的和孤兒屈枉正直，也不可拿寡婦的衣服作抵押。

「你借給鄰舍，無論是甚麼，不可進他家拿抵押品。要站在外面，等那借貸的人把抵押品拿出來交給你。他若是困苦的人，你不可用他的抵押品蓋着睡覺。日落的時候，總要把抵押品還給他，讓他用那件外衣蓋着睡覺，他就為你祝福。這在耶和華－你的神面前就是你的義行了。

他們拉走孤兒的驢，強取寡婦的牛作抵押。

你果真拿了鄰舍的外衣作抵押，也要在日落前還給他；因為他只有這一件用來作被子，是他蔽體的衣服。他還可以拿甚麼睡覺呢？當他哀求我，我就應允，因為我是有恩惠的。

又有人從母懷中搶走孤兒，在困苦人身上強取抵押品。

因你無故強取弟兄的抵押，剝去赤身者的衣服。

只是他們的兒女悖逆我，不順從我的律例，也不謹守遵行我的典章；人若遵行就必因此存活。他們卻干犯我的安息日。「因此我說，我要在曠野把我的憤怒傾倒在他們身上，向他們發盡我的怒氣。

「看哪，我必快來！賞罰在我，要照每個人所行的報應他。我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛；我是首先的，我是末後的；我是開始，我是終結。」那些洗淨自己衣服的有福了！他們可得權柄到生命樹那裏，也能從門進城。

我永不忘記你的訓詞，因你用這訓詞將我救活。

「你要吩咐以色列人：無論男女，若犯了人所常犯的任何罪，以致干犯耶和華，那人就有了罪。他要承認所犯的罪，將所虧負人的如數賠償，另外再加五分之一，交給所虧負的人。那人若沒有至親可接受所賠償的，所賠償的就要歸耶和華，交給祭司；另外還要獻一隻贖罪的公羊為他贖罪。

惡人若回轉離開所行的惡，行公平公義的事，他必救自己的命；因為他省察，回轉離開所犯的一切罪過，他必要存活，不致死亡。

他們在各祭壇旁邊，躺臥在人所典當的衣服上，又在他們神的殿裏喝受罰之人的酒。

虧負困苦和貧窮的人，搶奪別人的物件，不歸還抵押品，卻向偶像舉目，做可憎的事；

也未曾虧負人，未曾取人的抵押品，未曾搶奪人的物件，卻把食物給飢餓的人吃，把衣服給赤身的人穿，

「不可拿人的石磨或上面的磨石作抵押，因為這是拿人的命作抵押。
