“‘ So when I tell the wicked person,“ You will surely die,” but he repents of his sin and does what is just and right—

再者，我对恶人说：‘你必定死亡！’他若转离他的罪，行正直与合理的事：

我对恶人说：‘你必死亡！’他若转离他的罪恶，行公平公义的事；

我对恶人说：‘你必死亡！’他若转离他的罪恶，行公平公义的事；

我虽对恶人说他必定要死，但他若改邪归正，行事公正仁义，

我虽然对恶人说：‘你必定死亡’，但是他若离开他的罪，行公平和正直的事，

再者，我對惡人說：『你必定死亡！』他若轉離他的罪，行正直與合理的事：

我對惡人說：『你必死亡！』他若轉離他的罪惡，行公平公義的事；

我對惡人說：『你必死亡！』他若轉離他的罪惡，行公平公義的事；

我雖對惡人說他必定要死，但他若改邪歸正，行事公正仁義，

我雖然對惡人說：‘你必定死亡’，但是他若離開他的罪，行公平和正直的事，

再者，我雖對惡人說：「你必定死」，然而他若轉離他的罪，行公平正義的事；

我若謂惡人曰、爾必死、而彼轉離其惡、循法合理、

我言惡人必死、如彼悛改、惟善是行。

我言惡人必死、如彼悔改其罪、為義行善、

And if I say to a wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ but they then turn away from their sin and do what is just and right—

Suppose I say to a sinful person,‘ You can be sure you will die.’ And then they turn away from their sin. They do what is fair and right.

Again, though I say to the wicked,‘ You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is just and right,

And suppose I tell some wicked people that they will surely die, but then they turn from their sins and do what is just and right.

But when I say to the wicked,‘ You will certainly die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,

Again, when I say to the wicked,‘ You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right,

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

“ So when I tell the wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ but he repents of his sin and does what is just and right—

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

Suppose I say to the wicked,‘ You must certainly die,’ but he turns from his sin and does what is just and right.

Again, when I say to the wicked,“ You will surely die;” if he turns from his sin, and does that which is lawful and right;

But if a wicked person turns from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he will preserve his life.

Israel, return to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled in your iniquity.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.

If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

At one moment I might announce concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will uproot, tear down, and destroy it.However, if that nation about which I have made the announcement turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the disaster I had planned to do to it.

Mankind, he has told each of you what is good and what it is the LORD requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.

The one who conceals his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy.

If I say to the wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him— you don’t speak out to warn him about his wicked way in order to save his life— that wicked person will die for his iniquity. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have rescued yourself.

“ But if the wicked person turns from all the sins he has committed, keeps all my statutes, and does what is just and right, he will certainly live; he will not die.

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as well.Or those eighteen that the tower in Siloam fell on and killed— do you think they were more sinful than all the other people who live in Jerusalem?No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all perish as well.”

Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

If you return, Israel— this is the LORD’s declaration— you will return to me, if you remove your abhorrent idols from my presence and do not waver,

Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out,

Woe to the wicked— it will go badly for them, for what they have done will be done to them.
