“ Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel,‘ You have said this:“ Our transgressions and our sins are heavy on us, and we are wasting away because of them! How then can we survive?”’

“人子啊，你要对以色列家说：‘你们常说：我们的过犯罪恶在我们身上，我们必因此消灭，怎能存活呢？’

“人子啊，你要对以色列家说：你们曾这样说：‘我们的过犯罪恶在自己身上，我们必因此消灭，怎能存活呢？’

“人子啊，你要对以色列家说：你们曾这样说：‘我们的过犯罪恶在自己身上，我们必因此消灭，怎能存活呢？’

“人子啊，你要对以色列人说，‘你们说，我们背负过犯和罪恶，正因此而灭亡。我们怎能存活下去呢？

“人子啊！你要对以色列家说：‘你们这样说：我们的过犯和罪恶常在我们身上；我们必因此衰弱而死，怎能存活呢？’

「人子啊，你要對以色列家說：『你們常說：我們的過犯罪惡在我們身上，我們必因此消滅，怎能存活呢？』

「人子啊，你要對以色列家說：你們曾這樣說：『我們的過犯罪惡在自己身上，我們必因此消滅，怎能存活呢？』

「人子啊，你要對以色列家說：你們曾這樣說：『我們的過犯罪惡在自己身上，我們必因此消滅，怎能存活呢？』

「人子啊，你要對以色列人說，『你們說，我們背負過犯和罪惡，正因此而滅亡。我們怎能存活下去呢？

“人子啊！你要對以色列家說：‘你們這樣說：我們的過犯和罪惡常在我們身上；我們必因此衰弱而死，怎能存活呢？’

『人子啊，你要對以色列家說；你們常說：「我們的過犯罪惡老在我們身上；我們必在罪過中消削淨盡；怎能活着呢？」

人子歟、謂以色列家云、爾曰、我儕任愆尤、負罪戾、漸即消亡、何能生存、

人子、當告以色列家云、爾曹常言我任罪戾、日漸消亡、豈能得生、

惟爾人子歟、當告以色列族曰、爾曹常言、我儕愆尤罪惡、歸於我身、因以消亡、豈能生存、

“ Son of man, say to the Israelites,‘ This is what you are saying:“ Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?”’

“ Son of man, speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ You are saying,“ Our sins and the wrong things we have done weigh us down. We are wasting away because we have sinned so much. So how can we live?” ’

“ And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, Thus have you said:‘ Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we rot away because of them. How then can we live?’

“ Son of man, give the people of Israel this message: You are saying,‘ Our sins are heavy upon us; we are wasting away! How can we survive?’

“ Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what you have said:“ Surely our offenses and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?” ’

“ Therefore you, O son of man, say to the house of Israel:‘ Thus you say,“ If our transgressions and our sins lie upon us, and we pine away in them, how can we then live?”’

And thou, son of man, say unto the house of Israel: Thus ye speak, saying, Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we pine away in them; how then can we live?

“ Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel: You have said this,‘ Our transgressions and our sins are heavy on us, and we are wasting away because of them! How then can we survive?’

Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins[ be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

“ And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what you have said:“ Our rebellious acts and our sins have caught up with us, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?”’

“ You, son of man, tell the house of Israel:‘ You say this,“ Our transgressions and our sins are on us, and we pine away in them. How then can we live?”’

Your turbans will remain on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You will not lament or weep but will waste away because of your iniquities and will groan to one another.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look how they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

Zion says,“ The LORD has abandoned me; the Lord has forgotten me!”

Those who survive in the lands of your enemies will waste away because of their iniquity; they will also waste away because of their ancestors’ iniquities along with theirs.

for lack of bread and water. Everyone will be devastated and waste away because of their iniquity.

Israel, put your hope in the LORD. For there is faithful love with the LORD, and with him is redemption in abundance.

Keep your feet from going bare and your throat from thirst. But you say,“ It’s hopeless; I love strangers, and I will continue to follow them.”

Your children have fainted; they lie at the head of every street like an antelope in a net. They are full of the LORD’s fury, the rebuke of your God.
