“ Elam is there, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword. All who had spread terror in the land of the living went down uncircumcised to the earth below. They bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

“ Elam is also there. Its huge armies lie around the grave of its king. All those who spread terror while they were alive are now dead. They were killed by swords. They had not been circumcised. They went down into the earth below. Their shame is like the shame of others who go down into the grave.

“ Elam is there, and all her multitude around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised into the world below, who spread their terror in the land of the living; and they bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

“ Elam lies there surrounded by the graves of all its hordes, those who were slaughtered by the sword. They struck terror in the hearts of people everywhere, but now they have descended as outcasts to the world below. Now they lie in the pit and share the shame of those who have gone before them.

“ Elam is there with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword— those who went down to the underworld uncircumcised, who once spread their terror in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit.

“ Elam is there and all her hordes around her grave; all of them killed, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, who inflicted their terror on the land of the living, and bore their disgrace with those who go down to the pit.

“ There is Elam and all her multitude, All around her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused their terror in the land of the living; Now they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.

There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

好使你担当自己的耻辱，并且因你一切所行的使她们得了安慰，你就自觉惭愧。

闪的儿子是以拦、亚述、亚法撒、路德和亚兰。

犹大王西底家开始执政的时候，耶和华论到以拦的话临到耶利米先知，说：“万军之耶和华这样说：看哪！我要折断以拦的弓，就是他们战斗力强的武器。我要使四风从天的四边刮到以拦身上，把他们分散到四方，以致没有一个国家没有以拦难民的踪迹。我必使以拦人在他们的仇敌面前惊慌，在寻索他们性命的人面前恐惧；我必使灾祸，就是我的烈怒，临到他们身上；我必差遣刀剑追赶他们，直到把他们灭绝。”这是耶和华的宣告。“我必在以拦设立我的宝座，除灭那里的君王和领袖（这是耶和华的宣告）。但日后我必使被掳的以拦人归回。”这是耶和华的宣告。

“人子啊！你要为埃及的众民哀号，要把埃及和强国的女子，与下坑的人一同送到地府那里。

那时，我要使你与那些下到阴府的人一起，下到古时的人那里去；我要使你住在地的深处，就是住在久而荒废之地，与那些下到阴府的人在一起，以致你不再在活人的境界重现（“不再在活人的境界重现”这译法是参考古译本，原文作“不再返回，我却要在活人境地显出荣耀”）。

在被杀的人中，有床为它和它的众民安设；他们的坟墓都在它周围；他们都是没有受割礼的，是被刀所杀的；他们曾使惊恐散布在活人之地。现在他们与下坑的人一同担当自己的羞辱；以拦被安置在被杀的人中间。

因此，你要向以色列地说预言，对大山、小冈、溪涧和山谷说：主耶和华这样说：看哪！我在嫉妒和烈怒中说话，因为你们担当了列国的羞辱。所以主耶和华这样说：我举手起誓说：你们四围的列国必亲自担当自己的羞辱。

当暗拉非作示拿王，亚略作以拉撒王，基大老玛作以拦王，提达作戈印王的时候，

他们不可亲近我，作我的祭司，也不可亲近我的一切圣物，或至圣之物。他们必要担当自己的羞辱和他们所行可憎之事的报应。

他们在自己的土地上安然居住、无人惊吓的时候，就要担当自己的羞辱和向我所犯一切不忠的罪；

我必给他们兴起一个以种植闻名的地方，使他们在境内不再被饥荒消灭，也不再担当列国的羞辱。

心利的列王、以拦的列王、玛代的列王、

好使水旁所有的树木都不会因树身高大而自高，也不会使树顶长到茂密的枝叶上，又使一切有水滋润的树都不会高傲地屹立；因为他们在世人中，与那些下到阴府的人一起，都交与死亡、交与地的深处了。

你满有羞辱，没有尊荣，你也喝到露出下体来吧！耶和华右手的杯必传回来给你，使极大的羞辱取代你的尊荣。

到那日，主必再用自己的手，赎回他子民中的余民，就是从亚述、埃及、巴忒罗、古实、以拦、示拿和哈马，以及众海岛所剩下的。

智慧的价值人不知道，在活人之地也寻不到。

我在异象中观看，看见自己在以拦省书珊城堡里；我在异象中继续观看，看见自己在乌莱河的岸边。

勇士中最强的必在阴间论到埃及和帮助埃及的说：‘他们已经下来了，他们与没有受割礼的，就是被刀所杀的人，一起长眠。’

从我们幼年以来，我们列祖劳苦得来的，他们的牛羊，他们的儿女，都给那可耻的偶像吞掉了。但愿我们躺卧在羞耻中，让惭愧遮盖着我们！因为我们得罪了耶和华我们的神，从我们幼年直到现在，我们和列祖都没有听从耶和华我们的神的话。”

我必使你不再听见列国的羞辱，你必不再受万族的辱骂，也不再使你的国民跌倒。这是主耶和华的宣告。’”
